Marchbank Bakers
56 Drumlanrig St, ThornhillRecently ordered one of the new 6inch cakes from the website for a family birthday. Marchbanks didnt disappoint! The sponge was so soft and tasty, jam spot on and tart to cut through all the sweetness of the butter cream. Only one thing i could find wrong was the outside buttercream. It was slightly too thick for me but that is personal preference. I will be purchasing again and again. Fastastic addition Marchbanks!!!!

19 E Morton St, ThornhillWow…what can I say?!…I don’t have the words to praise the miso mushrooms enough!…they were out of this world!…the veg soup was pretty good too and the setting is lovely too with a nice open and airy feel, there is also a small art gallery and shop selling local produce, can’t wait to come back here for the miso mushrooms ?

Drumlanrig Cafe
53-54 Drumlanrig St, ThornhillTerrible fish and chips, the chips were hard and fish was half size and the batter was soft. The tea was terrible too it looked horrible and grey in colour and tasted terrible.
First time there and it’s my last time there. George Frame.
