The staff are friendly and always happy to assist with any questions or recommendations, which makes the experience feel welcoming and personal. The menu is extensive, featuring plenty of choice along with all the classic favourites you’d expect. Portions are generous and beautifully presented. \n\nWhat I really appreciated was the relaxed pace — you never feel rushed, and the flow of the meal is very pleasant. I also noticed they offer carry-out, which I’ll definitely be trying next time. When we visited, they had a special dish available only on the weekends, and it sounded absolutely delicious.\n\nI would personally recommend the king prawn starter — it was incredible, and I’ve honestly never seen prawns that size before. While some may consider it a little more expensive, you can truly taste the difference in quality. \n\nWe will definitely be returning!

Quality breakfast, everything was a great standard and cooked beautifully. Young lad who served us was attentive and friendly, as was Andy, who we assume was the owner.
Brilliant place to stop in for a full breakfast or something for lunch. Good coffee too. Highly recommend.
Back again in 2025- still the great service and quality food I've come to expect. Firm favourite

Cross Tavern
2 E Main St, Whitburn, Bathgatewent to the cross today for lunch with my mum, dad and brother. I had chicken pakora and chips which was really good, my brother had the jumbo hot dog which he also enjoyed and my mum enjoyed her panini too. really good value for money and great food, the staff are very friendly and helpful and I definitely would recommend and will be coming back soon.

E Main St, Whitburn, BathgateOn arrival at our table we were given menus and drinks order placed. The food we ordered arrived quickly between each course and was absolutely delicious, consisting of pakoras, steak, burger, sundae and cheesecake. The choice on the menu was varied and priced reasonably. Considering a wedding was taking place and the traffic outside, the venue was quiet. This is our favourite venue as we held our wedding there four years ago. Highly recommend welcoming friendly staff and excellent service and food, what more could you want right on your doorstep, so support your local hospitality. We enjoyed our evening.

7 W Main St, Whitburn, BathgateOrdered takeaway from Scoffable and as always really delicious. Their Tofu is always really well flavoured and a good amount of green pepper. Chips always come slightly soggy because they’re in a paper bag but chucked in the oven for 5 mins and they’re great. Will continue to keep ordering!
Vegetarian options: Whole section of the menu is a really tasty Tofu.

2 Manse Rd, Whitburn, BathgateThe curry out of here is amazing!I change between the beef and the chicken. The sauteed chicken and chips are packed full of flavour with a little spice. The staff are friendly and polite. Can be busy for deliveries during the weekend so I normally collect it. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Mix veg curry
