Premier Inn Telford North hotel
Donnington Wood Way, TelfordFairly typical Premier Inn, room clean, well maintained. One ongoing criticism is the duvets are far too heavy for summer and the ridiculous health and safety measures that mean windows open sufficiently far.
Although the restaurant isn't actually "part of the hotel" I have to say that although breakfast was fine dinner service was slow and at least one item (kids desert) was not as described on the menu, but the issue was well resolved by the waitress. Choice was nothing like as wide as at a Beefeater and given my experience next time I would note take the meal deal and eat elsewhere instead, even if it cost a little more.
Nearby activities: Close to Hoo Zoo which is a great day out especially for children that are into dinosaurs!

Oasis Fish Bar
10 Wellington Rd, Donnington, TelfordGreat kebab and chips. Ladies behind the counter where happy and pleasant to chat too. Shop is nice and clean. Good car parking. I would recommend this establishment.

Clock Tower Brewers Fayre
Donnington Wood Way, Donnington, TelfordWe have visited the Clock Tower when staying at the Premier Inn North and always found it consistently good for food, drink and staff friendliness. \n There can be a bit of a wait to get served but no big deal! It's not as though the staff are standing around on their phones, they are rushing around, serving drinks AND meals AND clearing up after people who are too lazy to take 3 glasses back to the bar, or clear up a bit when they leave! (sorry but it's just something that really winds me up)\n Food is very good, especially the Sunday carvery which always has the place packed whenever we've been there on a Sunday. Pizzas are also very tasty and no skimping on the toppings\nThere is a large dining room at the rear which isn't apparent when you go in and they seem to cater for pretty large family groups, judging by the number of comers and goers. \nVey convenient if you're staying at the hotel as it's literally a stones throw at the end of the car park. \n Reasonably priced drinks. £4.45 for Strongbow which isn't too bad these days and to be fair it's a nice, clean, cold pint. All in all a very nice place to have a drink and a good pub meal. We will be returning soon. Thanks

Dobbies Garden Centre Telford
Station Rd, Donnington, TelfordUsually stop once a month for cake and coffee. I think at this point I've tried almost every cake they have and they are all perfect. Even though I like chocoloate, that chocolate fudge cake is a bit much. Damn lovely but damn sweet.
Only dissapointing thing with the drinks is that the hot chocolate is no loger made with milk, just water.
