Birch Rd, EllesmereProbably one of my favourite ever pubs. From the bar staff to the locals, i felt really welcome and part of the family . Such loveky down to earth people. Its a proper pub pub. Has live music in the beer garden and feels.like every generation go there, the locals and bar staff greet familiar faces with smiley faces and banter. Will definitely visit every time we pass through this beautiful village

Former Natwest bank, Scotland St, EllesmereCalled in here for coffee today...lovly friendly polite staff...great atmosphere ...got some local cheese n veg to take home ..mmmmmm garlic and mushroom cheese was yummy ...the local blue cheese was also yummy ...keep up good work ..will visit nxt time we in the area

The Red Lion Ellesmere
Church St, EllesmereMe, my partner and my mother stayed at the Woodland Lodges for a holiday and put The Red Lion on our list of places to go for tea.
It was a really nice place to go, the food choice is amazing, the prices are absolutely brilliant and the service was very nice.
We enjoyed it soo much that we booked in to go a couple of nights later. They also had a specials board with lots of choice.
Food quality and portions are outstanding.
I am a vegetarian and the other two with me are not. I felt the vegetarian options were brilliant. I was surprised to see Quorn on the specials boards. So the first time I had the burger which was lovely and tasty. The second time I went for the specials option of Quorn Tagliatelle and it was amazing.
My partner had the Steak and Ale Pie and second time the Lamb Shank. Which he enjoyed. And my mother had a Beef Brisket and second time Bangers and Mash which she thoroughly enjoyed.
Would 100% recommend.

Eastwick Ln, Ellesmerewhat a fantastic afternoon at the cocktail making experience. informative, inspirational, fun and great tasting cocktails. Gave us the confidence to go away and try these wonderful cocktails, armed with the knowledge of how to use the equipment and how to mix for a great taste. Thoroughly recommend this experience, their passion for their products really shows in their delivery. well done guys, we will be back, bringing many more willing participants! thank you

Coco Coffee Bar
6 Scotland St, EllesmereAbsolutely first rate food, drink and service. It made a lovely change to have a different selection of food on the menu from other cafes in the area. I had deliciously light pancakes with cheese and chilli jam with a lovely salad with dressing on the side. Just small extra touches made this cafe stand out from others. We will definitely be back! ?

The Swan Inn
Cross St, EllesmereOur first visit but will definitely not be our last. Fabulous welcome great banter and the most amazing food. We even came home with gifted wine bottles for us to male some flavoured oils. Five stars all round

Scotland St, EllesmereSmall cosy local pub with a real fire. Locals are very friendly. Did find the beers slightly more expensive than the other places in town. Closest pub to the canal for the boaters.

Pizza The Mere
hotel, High St, EllesmerePizzas were really good. Was a bit difficult to find where to collect, it's inside the hotel, through the doors on the right and the kitchen was on the left. They left the pizzas on the side for us to collect so we weren't waiting around.

5 High St, EllesmereThe staff are incredibly polite and patient. The food came out at a good pace and didn’t feel rushed, tasted all freshly cooked and was presented well. If you are visiting Ellesmere or live in Ellesmere it’s definitely a place to check out. I my self will be returning. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Boat House
The Mereside, EllesmereSadly it was very cold cold on the day we visited and the food was barely hot...However, the young ladies serving were very attentive and helpful....we will just return in the summer as there is plenty of outdoor seating overlooking the lake.
