Having visited the Pub on the off-chance I was delighted with the warmth of the welcome, not only by the staff, but also by the clientile. Would definitely recommend a visit, and enjoy the food in the Indial restaurant at the back.

We were locked out of our Airbnb so called in here to ask for help. Evie went out of her way to help us, she organised the locksmith’s and we waited in the pub for them to arrive. Luckily we had a debit card. The pub has a really good selection of beers, spirits and ciders. The locals in there were just lovely and calmed us down in what was an extremely stressful situation and special thanks to Evie who was brilliant! Nothing too much trouble made us feel so welcome. Very friendly pub and good prices they have a Indian at the back and Robbies chip shop and cafe with excellent fish and chips and you can eat them in the pub excellent after a long day's cycling on our holidayGreat pub great staff good price great food from Chip Shop or Indian, very friendly locals, had Regaee night on Friday and it was lovely to meet the famous John thank you for making us so welcome on our cycling holiday take care everyone from Jo and Gerry
