The last time I visited was many years ago.Very friendly staff and pretty decor make this a relaxed place.The prices are a little on the high side - 2 course meal for two was £50 but the food was very good. Had a good selection of ales.Parking is plentiful and free.Be mindful of the Toll bridge to rejoin the A4
Four of us walking from Bath enjoyed an excellent lunch at the George Inn Bathampton. Food and beer were very good and the service from Sophie our waitress exemplary - attentive and friendly but not intrusive. Would definitely recommend and will come again.

Lovely old pub by the river, came for a Sunday roast after a walk along the canal. Food was unfortunately extremely disappointing - roast dinner was very bland, soggy / chewy roasties, etc. Waiter was very friendly. Manager was pretty unhelpful with booking issue. Clear that it is unfortunately understaffed, which i empathise with.
