We visited The Peacock Restaurant this evening with two family members, the service and the food was absolutely exceptional.Good choice on the menu, very reasonably priced. An amazing experience which will be the first of many.
My wife's sister was visiting us and thought I would take my wife and her sister to the Peacock Restaurant as the name was the same as their Maiden name. We had afternoon tea for the 3 of us and they only brought us items for 2 people. We had to complain to receive more cakes, although they didn't bring extra sandwiches. Had breakfast here before family wedding. Food was overcooked. Croissants stale. Coffee was some cheap granules in a bowl with a jug containing Luke warm water. No spoons or napkins. Staff very disinterested in helping
