Whortleberry Tearoom
High St, Porlock, MineheadWasn't very hopeful after trying a cafe down the street which didn't have anything gluten free....but was excited to discover Whortleberry's had gluten free scones, cake, and some the tastiest gf bread I've ever had! Warm and welcoming staff and great food. Highly recommend.Dietary restrictions: Plenty of gluten free options

Exfordbridge tea rooms
Chapel St, ExfordLittle gem in the heart of Exford. The food was prepared by the most friendly of Chefs called Bruce. I had one of the best soups ever, and the best British sausage I've had in my life. Pudding kept up with the excellent quality too!

The Royal Oak
High St, Porlock, MineheadI booked a table for my husbands birthday and as a surprise I asked the chef to make a cake. The meal was superb - scallops for me and cod wrapped in parma ham for Steve. Both were delicious and the red velvet cake topped with candles and ediblle flowers was amazing and delicious. Thanks to you all for making Steves birthday fab.
