24 Market St, WatchetWe was staying up the road and came in to Watchet town centre / harbour, popped into this little gem on a pub. Its only small bit has heaps of character and all sorts of historic things dotted about. I had a Guinness and it was beautiful they found a seat for me and the family when we entered. The atmosphere was great and the decor is very quirky if your in that area defiantly worth popping in for one.

34 Swain St, WatchetEpic food is easy to return. Brilliant Cornish pastys and meat pies and sausage rolls. If you are feeling healthy, lots of nice salads are offered in different sizes. Nice packed drinks menu. Big selection of local chutneys and jams. Lovely clean and tidy inside with welcoming, friendly staff.

The Star Inn
Mill Ln, WatchetJust spent a few hours at The Star Inn in Watchet. My meal was stunning and the dessert was even better! Very polite and friendly staff too.

Just had the large Sunday roast OMG ,I didn't think the food could get any better, there was a selection of 3 meats of you're choice, it's superb. Don't miss this little gem . Loved it

White Horse Inn, Abbey Rd, Washford, WatchetI have given this a place a 4 star overall because this is a pub and when booking should have thought about that as in the room was ear plugs a few sets ? everything else was good also one night it was very hard to park because the place was full of motorcycles people as this seems to be a meeting place let me stress there was no trouble but it is worth bearing in mind

10 The Esplanade, WatchetBest cafe in the whole country, never mind just Watchet. The Mariner Café in Watchet is a hidden gem! We enjoyed their delicious meatball subs with crisps and a hot drink as part of a great-value meal deal. The food was fresh, tasty, and served with a smile—perfect comfort food by the sea!

2 Market St, WatchetWhat a great cafe. A wonderful full breakfast that was faultless, was washed down with a generous pot of tea. The staff including head Chef were really friendly too. Excellent value for money, would highly recommend. Also, it's within a minute or so of Market St carpark, so couldn't be better.

The Cat’s Whisker
old Anchor Public House, 6a Anchor St, Blue Anchor, WatchetHome cooking at its best. Sunday lunch was tasty with very generous portions and a wide selection of accompanying vegetables. The atmosphere was warm and friendly and to add to the generous spirit of the place, mini Easter eggs were offered.
Highly recommend. Photo is of delicious lemon posset.

The White House Hotel and Restaurant (book direct for best prices)
11 Long St, Williton, TauntonI stayed here for several months while working in HPC and had an excellent experience. I received an incredibly warm welcome, and Ruth and George went above and beyond to make my room feel like a home away from home. The food was fantastic and featured great variety each week. I highly recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in the area.

The Spice Merchant.
14 Market St, WatchetOrdered a takeaway last night as we are on holiday, delivery took a while but I appreciate the usual road that would be used is permanently closed so a 6 mile detour is needed, the food was still hot and myself and partner both very much enjoyed our meals, good portion size and tasty food.

Harbour Rd, WatchetGreat selection of vegetarian dishes with a menu that feels thoughtfully put together. Some of the flavours were genuinely impressive and stood out more than expected — the chickpea in the aubergine dish, in particular, was surprisingly delicious and well balanced. Not everything was quite to my personal taste, but there’s enough variety that most people will find something they enjoy. The ambience isn’t the strongest point compared to similar spots, but it still has its own character and does what it sets out to do reasonably well.

6 Swain St, WatchetSo let's be clear, the food was totally lovely and can't be faulted and I could munch that stuff all night. However, I had to wait on the bench 90 minutes for it while others came and went, locals prioritised, so plan your food carefully. If you leave it too late you will expire from hunger before you get your grub.
