Mayflower Grill and Eatery
20 High Street, Austerfield, DoncasterLovely pub, beautiful decor. The food (we had bar bites) was quality. Maybe a little pricey for what you got but it was done well and we enjoyed it, but we were still hungry afterwards. The service was good and they were very welcoming. We didnt stay in the rooms so can't comment on these.

52 High St, Bawtry, DoncasterI can’t recommend this place enough and I simply can’t thank Josh and team enough for their help. Back in summer I booked for a December group birthday in, Josh was amazing explaining all the options we had, always on hand at the end of the phone during planning. On the day, absolutely everyone complimented the venue, the service and the amazing carvery! Overall the biggest compliment was about the food! Highly recommended - you won’t go wrong here, you’re in great hands.

El Toro Restaurant
16 The Courtyard, Bawtry, DoncasterReal quaint restaurant. In a little courtyard.
The staff were really friendly.
The food was really tasty apart from a couple of dishes which we thought were a touch bland. But everything else was very flavoursome.
Could do with a sprouse up. Could see some cobwebs on the wall. And a touch of decorating would go a miss.
But that's all.
Will definitely return.

Bawtry's Pizzeria & Steakhouse
Rear of, 52 High St, Bawtry, DoncasterDropped in recently to Bawtry’s Pizzeria & Steakhouse on 3 Swan Street, Bawtry, Doncaster DN10 6JQ, and tried the classic Margarita pizza—simple, but always a good test of any pizzeria. The base was well-cooked with a decent chew and a light crispness underneath, which I liked. Tomato sauce had a fresh, slightly sweet tang, though it could’ve done with a touch more seasoning or depth. The mozzarella was generous and nicely melted, though I wouldn’t have minded a bit more browning on top for added texture and flavour.
Service was friendly and the place has a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. All in all, it’s a solid spot—nothing fancy, just honest, decent food. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Scaftworth, DoncasterWe had Sunday lunch and we can’t fault the friendly efficient service, tye food was presented hot and very tasty, can highly recommend a visit. Tye beer garden is lovely, plenty of seats a good play area for children, be mindful it’s near a river.
There was a vocalist on this afternoon in the garden and a lovely ice cream shop next door worth a visit

1 Market Pl, Bawtry, DoncasterI found this restaurant on Google as I was only staying in the area for work. I was very pleasantly surprised with an overall experience.
Upon walking in without booking I was immediately greeted by 2 members of staff and seated very quickly. I didn’t expect the restaurant to be so busy on a Wednesday night! However staff were very attentive and it was apparent they were enjoying their job, which was refreshing to see.
I was served mouth watering Italian food too! I would highly recommend this restaurant and I hope to come back in the near future! Thank you!

Turnpike Bawtry
28-30 High St, Bawtry, DoncasterTrip out to see my best mate's sister n partner with his grandson who has cerebral palsy.
Pub is wheelchair friendly n dog friendly. Very comfortable n extremely polite n friendly bar staff.
And they had a right selection of draught beers. My mate n I had a couple of pints of draught mango cider - outstanding.
All in all a most enjoyable afternoon
Parking: In main street pay n display
Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair front entrance and plenty of room in front bar. Step up to back bar though.

This restaurant has authentic Italian food , cooked to perfection and served by staff that goes the extra mile that makes you feel appreciated and welcomed, on our practical visit this time we was a little ‘ momentary over excited’ (it was the first time we saw our friends in over a year), we possibly offended the guest with our jubilance, however this has no reflection on the restaurant itself . This should not effect the restaurant, reviews or ambitions.

Dower House
1 Market Pl, Bawtry, DoncasterWe hired out nearby Rossington House on a corporate trip and persuaded Ronnie at Dower House to deliver a takeaway for 24 people. He wasn't satisfied with that though, going to a huge amount of effort to lay out a full buffet in restaurant style and making sure our guests were happy. The food was delicious, especially the samosas, Prawn Buna and lamb specials - it was all great. Thank you again Ronnie and your team for all your attendtion to detail. Highly recommended!

China Rose Bawtry
16 S Parade, Bawtry, DoncasterVisited the China Rose on Saturday 24/01/26 for my daughters 13th birthday with family, seated quickly and efficiently, at table 13 go figure! Had the ribs to start which were lovely then had the birds nest with beef, beef was lovely have to say the birds nest was not as good as it used to be, that said I am refering back about a decade amd recall it to be more akin to a birds nest!
All in all a great night good food and good service
