The Royal Oak

Came for a few drinks in Barton with my dad and was extremely impressed with The Royal Oak. Beautiful older building with many period features, a lovely garden, conservatory and two roaring fires to keep cosy.
As soon as we entered, the extremely friendly landlord greeted us and we had a good laugh together as if we'd been coming there for years. Had a top notch real ale in a buzzing, warm environment and ended up saying bye to everyone as we left.
I only live in Burton so will be sure to come back here whenever I can. My favourite pub of the day! Thanks for a great experience!
