Been to this pub now a few time and normally have a good experience. Went for lunch today as always the staff were really friendly even though they were mad busy but unfortunately the food was not up to the usual standards. Had to wait over 40 minutes which even though I was on my lunch break, I wouldn’t have minded had the food turned up and was editable. Visited for breakfast with daughter and grandson. I had traditional daughter had breakfast burger and grandson had sausage and toast. Food was well cooked, got and well presented. The girl who served us was very friendly and helpful. It wasn't overly busy but felt

The staff are wonderful, helpful. We’d actually gone to another pub to watch sport and the manager sent us to The Merchant. The ladies behind the bar were absolutely wonderful. Thank you ladies ?
