Junction Inn
Norbury Junction, StaffordWe called in here on Thursday 14th August 2025 as we were on our boat and moored here for the night. We thought we would just have a couple of drinks and then go eat back at the boat but having looked at the menu we decided to eat here as well, we both had baguette with chips and salad garnish they were excellent as was the service and drinks

George & The Dragon
46 High St, Gnosall, StaffordWe have revisited The George & Dragon in July 2024 for a drink .We were all very pleased we called in as we were really impressed by the quality of the Facers Flintshire Mountain Mild . This would appear to a nearly permanently basis . It is a superb example of a dark mild for only £3.60 a pint .
Visited George and the Dragon early evening on Friday 18 May 2018 for the first time after seeing it's entry in the Good Beer Guide. We managed to park the car in the street just up the road from the George and the Dragon. The pub is an interesting 1735 building slightly set back from the road. On entering the bar is directly in front of you with seating and tables both to the left and right. There is another room past the bar.
There is a very good range of real ales on the bar with 5 handpulls on the bar. We had a well kept drink of New Brew Steam Stout , from Newport, at the very good price of £3.00 a pint. The place was busy but there was still space. Both the staff and customers were friendly and welcoming.
Parking: The George & the Dragon has free parking in the street just in front of the premises with lined parking areas on one side of the street limited to 40 minutes during working hours

The Horns Inn
23 High St, Gnosall, StaffordWe always love eating and drinking at The Horns. Lovely dog friendly restaurant and bar. Good ale and beers on offer and a healthy sized menu with great home cooked food. Lovely staff. This pub is also so quiet, which is both a blessing and a curse. The pub really deserves more customers who recognise the greatness of this place, but it also means if you go you might get it to yourself! Look forward to returning next week!
