Honestly what an incredible restaurant!! We came for the full tasting menu with the additional wine pairings and we’re completely blown away! They just didn’t stop bringing out food! Even the coffees came with a little snack, I had to roll myself out of the place 4 hours later. We got pre dinner snacks and a little chat with big Liam who is very buzzed about his bees outside (and the honey was genuinely the most incredible honey I’ve ever tasted) and then the actual courses started, and EVERYTHING was divine. I’m a fairly fussy eater but my partner is a foodie and we were both looking at each other after every course like wtf how can everything be this delicious?? Like the lick the plate after you’re done delicious!! My personal favourite was the scallops course which you have to add on, but do yourself a favour and treat yourself because it’s actually life changing. my partner enjoyed the smoked aubergine purée despite the fact he absolutely hates aubergine so take from that what you will!! The staff were also all wonderful human beings, personable and asking us what we thought of each course. Our main waiter (sorry I didn’t get anyone’s name) was an absolute delight and made us laugh so much, even told me about the humane way they catch and kill the Squabs so I wouldn’t feel bad about eating pigeon. (I still feel bad about eating pigeon but he was truly funny). And Nick. Wonderful wine wizard Nick. This sweet angel picked seven (is it 7? It felt like they kept coming I’ll be honest) of the most incredible wines we’ve ever had. Each one suited the dish so perfectly and were just incredible. My favourite was the one that smells like melted butter (which shouldn’t be good! But it was insane) and my partner is already scouring the internet for wines from Santorini as they were straight up otherworldly. All this to say, we had the best experience in the boat. The staff, the food, the ambiance, you should get yourself in there and treat yourself. We’ll be back sooner rather than later. And everytime the menu changes with the seasons we’ll be there!! Thank you so much for a wonderful night!

Ate here yesterday and was served by the lovely Florence. The atmosphere was amazing, the food was incredible and the service was 10/10. I loved the scallop with satay sauce and the amazing bread. I had the beef main and it was exceptional. Alot of effort, consistency and skills go into making such a menu and our table appreciated all the flavours, touches and quality. Thank you ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We just wish that all pubs were like this. Brilliant food amazing service and a genuine warmth about the staff who actually care about providing a great experience. We couldn’t believe the size of the Burger !! The food was fresh and very tasty and the homemade chips were delicious! The Eton Mess Belgium waffle was to die for !!
In short we wholeheartedly recommend the Feathers and will definitely return

As a beer buff Beerbohm is a great place to go. Four ales on draght hand pull and several continetal beers. The ales are fresh and always well kept and the choice of belgium beers on draught or in bottles is extensive. Why go to bruges when Beerbohm is so close. But that not all they do. Saturday afternoon and the most people in there are ladies drinking the cocktails and extensive wine selection. They really have for all drinking tastes covered under one roof and spilling into the street when its busy.

A popular bistro located just on the edge of the town centre, it was full to capacity on our recent Saturday evening visit, and we certainly would not have got in if we hadn’t booked. The menu here is a set price at £25 for 2 courses or £30 for 3 which seems very reasonable, and it offered a decent selection of dishes with half a dozen or so options per course. I had though there might be a few specials offered as well, but apparently not. The wine list offered a concise selection, with the most expensive bottle of white coming in at £30, and this was reflected in the quality – it was ok, but certainly nothing special.\n\nService was pleasant, friendly and efficient, and we were soon settled down perusing the menu. I opted for the Crispy brie with panko crumb and spiced apricot compote to start and this turned up quite quickly. It was ok I suppose, but I perhaps expected a little more. Likewise the Prawn and smoked salmon with lemon hollandaise across the table, was ok, but didn’t really live up to expectations, it was just a pile of very small pink prawns with a few tiny bits of smoked salmon scattered in amongst them. It rather reminded me of those meals you get in the run up to Christmas in large hotels – it all sounds very posh on paper, but when the kitchen is churning them out by the hundred, it somehow loses something along the way.\n\nNext up I went for the Oven roast salmon fillet served with garlic sauté potatoes and a mint hollandaise. This was much better, a generous portion of very well cooked salmon, tasty potatoes and whilst the mint in the hollandaise was unusual it was certainly not unpleasant. Across the table, the Slow braised belly pork with creamy mash and a cider & wholegrain mustard sauce was again well received, with some very crispy crackling and a tasty sauce. Things were definitely looking up. A dessert of Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream and toffee sauce was also very good, lovely and moist with plenty of sauce, and a glass of Pedro Ximenez Triana sherry on the side was a bargain at only £3.50. \n\nOverall, despite a slight misstep to start with, I thought this was all pretty good, and exceptional value for the price.

Writing this after the first sip - one of the best hazelnut lattes I've had. Milk and temp spot on, lovely syrup, and coffee with a kick to it.

Great service too! Not a bad spot at all to have 2 mins away from home.

Not your bog standard bottomless!\nMedium well rump steak with handcut skin on chips, vine tomatoes and Diane sauce cooked to perfection followed by Christmas pudding and vanilla ice cream were my options. Staff very welcoming and attentive (Loz & Laura), steady boozy flow of drinks- would definitely be back ? We were a group of 4 very fussy ladies and each 1 of us left very full, satisfied and a little bit tipsy!!

We went here off reading reviews on this site and glad we did.\nThe table was cleaned as we sat down, menus provided and we were shown the boards with the specials.\nYou order at the counter and they accept cards which some cafes around here don't!\n\nI chose the Salmon and avocado sandwich with a bowl of soup (Butternut squash carrot and potato)\nOthers had the Bigger breakfast which they both said was the best they've had in a long time, with thick cut fried bread.\nHowever they did say it soaked up the fat, so something for the owners to possibly look at changing for different bread or do them as toast as it's healthier ?\n\nCustomer toilet to the rear, very pleasant.\n\nIf I came back to Lichfield we'd definitely go back here, if you are looking for a good cafe, look no further!

Came in for my girlfriends birthday with my mom and her mom, Jack served us and kept the drinks flowing, he made us feel welcome and compensated us when he couldn’t provide us with a chicken wing sharer we had asked for in the bottomless section, which at most was a minor inconvenience, and we were willing to pay for, the food was amazing and we were full after a main meal and two sharers. When we had finished, we were given two of the last order drinks we had asked for. Overall, it was a really good experience provided by jack and I would definitely come back based on this experience.

This is my favourite place to eat. My family and I have been coming here for years and the food is always top notch. Coffee is better than the chains and I love a good granary crusty baguette, you just can't get them anywhere. Also, the Full English is legendary and everywhere else I go, I always say. It's nice, but not as good as the City Corner. This is my go to place.

Cracking pub with some great Joules ales all fresh as a daisy and super tasty. Thw staff are very friendly ans attentive and knowledgeable of the beers always offering a small sample before you buy. The bar area is big with 3 indoor rooms but i sat outside on a sunny September Saturday and there are dozëns of sears and tables most under cover so ideal for big partys and groups. Ill be back soom for sure.

I am so often disappointed when I go out for Sunday lunch. Mediocre meat and sub standard roast potatoes seem to be the norm. The standard of food is often well below what can be prepared at home.
Dubberly Delicious is definitely different.
It costs a little more than your average pub but the food is phenomenal and well worth the extra.

The Dog Inn was recommended by another pub landlord as they were not offering food and the recommendation was on the nose. The food at the Dog Inn is exceptional.

We went for a ate afternoon meal on a Friday so there were a number of patrons, however the service was quick and polite. They offer a standard menu as you would expect, with a specials board as well as a pasta of the week and soup of the day.

We opted for the latter 2 options as they were Chicken and Chorizo bake and a mixed vegetable soup (which the waitress advised was very nice and the staff we all having it!).

Both were absolutely exquisite. The soup was a large portion server with 3 slices of crusty bread and ample butter, which was more than enough for my fiance. Whilst the pasta was equal parts beautifully cooked pasta shells and protein, all loving topped with a thick layer of cheese and server with 3 pieces of homemade crusty garlic bread. All of this (2 meals) and 3 drink between us cost just under £30 total so it it also extremely good value for money.

The pub itself is beautifully presented, with ample indoor seating spread across a number of rooms, outdoor seating to the left and rear of the premises, wrap around parking and guest rooms.

We finally made it to The Plough in Shenstone and it was well worth the wait! The lamb shank was cooked to perfection and was accompanied by plenty of roast potatoes and vegetables. I like a lot of gravy and usually have to ask for more but here we were given our own individual jugs as standard. All the staff were polite and courteous. Definitely will be making a return journey

My wife and I visited The Eastern Eye on Monday Evening with a couple of old friends, it is not the first time we have been so we knew what to expect. The girls both knew what they wanted but Terry and myself asked Abdul for a suggestion to help us choose, he certainly came up with the goods; He suggested his Goat Curry in his special sauce, all that I can say is that I have had hundreds of Curries previously in many countries, and can say I have never before had anything that good, the portion size was spot on, the sauce was majestic and the Goat Meat was cooked to perfection, tender and tasty. I had it with a soft Roti, I would recommend this to anybody. We will be back soon to try again, many thanks Abdul and staff, regards, Chris Henson, Lichfield.
