Another year passes and we remember Suzanne with a visit to your restaurant. Pehaps we can plant a tree or place a plaque in memoriam?The review below was 6 years ago.Except tonight our family had the most amazing meal, tinged with sadness as our loved ones are enjoying their meals in heaven.We were without Sue and Suzanne, grandma and daughter. We had a wonderful time at The Wine House. The food was absolutely amazing and I would 100 per cent recommend the BBQ Aubergine. I decided not to drink on my visit and asked for a cup of tea. The staff looked slightly bewildered, and it did take around twenty minutes to come out, but I have to say that they made the best cuppa I’ve ever had. Would go back literally just for that. This old favourite seemed to have gone off the boil in recent years, with an increased focus on bottomless lunches for the younger set, and what we thought was poor value for a la carte dinners out.
