High St, Acton, SudburyReally nice country pub serving excellent home made food at reasonable prices. We stopped by today just by chance and had such a nice meal we thought we would share our experience!
There is a varied food menu with lots of choice and extra specials as well.
We both had ploughman’s lunches - one with cheddar cheese and the other lovely ham. We also had a side of fries too. The salad was very fresh and the baguette lovely and just baked.
The service and welcome was most friendly and courteous and we cannot recommend this pub highly enough.

The White Horse
Lavenham Rd, Great Waldingfield, SudburyEclectic, unusual, madly decorated village pub that does amazing food. To say I was pleasantly surprised is an understatement but pleasant it most certainly was.
Just make sure you visit here hungry. No, really hungry! The portions are huge and the food is sublime.
