We dropped in first after walking past for some cheeky takeaway Falafel, the staff and owners were so inviting and friendly that we had to come back for dinner. So we did, everything we ordered was on point , and wow that Turkish beer was the best I have ever tasted.
Friendly, attentive, kind, inviting, incredible food ( obviously though because it's Turkish ) , truly a wonderful place to relax and eat!
Thankyou to all the staff for such a wonderful atmosphere !

91-93 Undercliff Rd W, FelixstoweAnother visit to the Alba Chiara. We were a little bit disappointed with the menu. I fancied something meaty - but surprisingly there was not a main course bolognese or lasagne on the menu. There was not an offering of veal or calves liver or even a piece of fish. The dish with the duck breast was not available. I love this restaurant but don't always want to eat pizza. Thank you however for an otherwise enjoyable meal out with friends

Food is fresh, hot and delicious!
Service is always brilliant!
Delivery drivers always friendly and courteous, 99% our food arrives earlier than expected.
We have been ordering regularly from them for 5+ years when we just don’t want to cook but want REAL food.
In this timeframe we have only had 2 issues and these were sorted out quickly!
Highly recommended!

Perfect Kebab House
3 Orwell Rd, FelixstoweHonestly I’m shocked at so many negative reviews. The kebabs here are delicious! I order every week, we like the shish kebabs with chilli and garlic mayo, my tip is to ask for sauces on the side, that way your meat and pitta don’t get soggy. The chilli sauce is seriously good, not too spicy and really fresh. I love the red cabbage and onion, and the lamb flavour and quality is amazing especially the price for the quantity you get. Highly recommend.

The food is very reasonably priced and very good quality. Porton size just right and a very delicious dessert menu to finish.
We will be back for more and probably soon. A real treat to find a nice pub with quality at a good price.

5 Bent Hill, FelixstoweOriginally booked a 16th birthday and added my 10 year olds on also. Different times and different rooms (1 down and 1 up). Could not have picked anywhere better! Playlist was on for the 10 year old and we had an awesome DJ for the 16th, there was never a dull moment on the dance floor or anyone moaning about a tune that he played! Becky and Toby were amazing and could not have done anything else for us! I was stressing so much and I actually didn't need to at all! Thank you for making their birthday parties fab!

The service is good, the food is always hot and good, in around 10 years I have never been disappointed and will travel to go there. Recommend.

The Street, Alderton, WoodbridgeGenuine Wurlitzer juke box - get a quarter from the landlord and choose 3 classic vinyl singles. Excellent accommodation too. Really friendly bar staff and locals! They don't do food but this is an excellent little pub with a great atmosphere and accommodation. We based ourselves here for our visit to Sutton Hoo very near by. Also handy for the coast where we visited the Martello Towers. Excellent local Suffolf beers on tap and Adnams classic Ghost Ship too!

The vegetable ingredients are always very fresh and crisp. They always check when placing an order for a vegetarian meal for two the prawn crackers are ok or can be removed as not vegetarian. With the additional garlic prawns for a non vegetarian we're properly cleaned and well cooked. All the food is also hot unlike some others. Just good quality food at a fair price and good value for money as we always have enough for more than one meal.

Only last week we had an excellent cottage and fish pie with a good portion of fresh green vegetables. A week later 20th June 2025 we introduce our friends to have lunch with us and the meal was very disappointing. Standards have slipped not only have portions been drastically reduced but the fish from the fish and chips was not freshly battered fried fish but clearly from a pre prepared packet. Consistency in a meal matters. Pot luck is not an option.

47 Undercliff Rd W, FelixstoweThis is a lovely little cafe, we have visited a number of times this year as a group of 6 blokes that work at the port. We often have a big breakfast, the quality of ingredients is very good, and it's great value for money.
The staff are always very friendly, we are always greeted with smiles from all staff and they are very helpful regarding our dietary requirements.
The atmosphere is always nice and we often see the same faces which is always a good sign regarding food establishments. I would happily recommend this cafe to friends & family.
I would also recommend the Kinder Bueno or the Ferrero Rocher cake as it is amazing, you will not be disappointed.
Wheelchair access is via a suitable ramp at the main entrance door. Parking is also very easy as there is a free car park across the road. Overall a great place to have some breakfast or a lunchtime snack.

Hamilton Fish and Chips, 175 Hamilton Rd, FelixstoweThe best gluten free fish and chips ever! The batter is light and crispy. The chips are the best!
They have a dedicated fryer and the staff is knowledgeable about cross contamination.
They serve GF fish and chips every Tuesday and as a coeliac, I feel safe to eat there.

Lovely weather so sat out on the balcony and enjoyed my beer watching the ships come in and the world pass by.

I ordered beef chop suey and it was so rich in flavour and there was a generous amount of meat it was my first time trying Chinese and I must say it won't be my last time! I'm so glad I visited China cottage for my first experience of Chinese food! The service was even better than the food in a way! My server was named Georgie if I remember correctly and she was a pleasure to meet! She was so polite and very helpful I hope next time I visit I get to see georgie again! She was very good at explaining the dishes and overall I would say my experience at China cottage was amazing!!! Would definitely recommend to visit or get takeaway!!Kid-friendliness: I came with my daughter and they were so polite and welcoming to her it was also her first time trying Chinese so it was the best experience!!

A bit empty with cookies and muffins, but not that I was looking for one anyway. Nice and tidy inside. The only downside that even with 50% off for sandwiches, getting one and a regular coffee I still paid £9. Makes no sense.

The Old School House, 115 High Rd W, FelixstoweI've heard a lot about this fish and chip shop and it didn't disappoint, popped in to grab dinner for myself and my wife. My wife having chili cheese bites which were very nice and I had chicken nuggets which also a very nice. They were pretty much cooked to order so a small wait but meant everything was nice and hot.
Will use again when wanting chips in the beach in the evening.
