Had a delicious roast beef Sunday lunch here today. Perfect beef, still pink and juicy, great selection of tasty vegetables, including still bubbling cauliflower cheese. Could not fault the meal or service and the 80s music was perfect.

Called in today on the off-chance. So glad we did. Service was second to none, so polite and friendly. The food was amazing. Cosy and comfortable surroundings. Wish we lived closer, as this would definitely be a regular. Thank you for a lovely evening .

Had a great weekend stay, room was clean, with nice view. Dog friendly , very welcoming. Nice area for a paw stretch. Comfy bed. Evening meal food very tasty. And a wonderful home cooked breakfast with great choices.
My friend was gluten free , plenty to choose from. We were impressed. Gluten free whitebait were a favourite.

I decided to surprise my wife with an overnight stay at the crown . We weren't disappointed nothing was too much trouble , the staff were very friendly and attentive, superb food and room 8. is amazing This probably explains why this was our 4th stay and definitely not our last
