I booked a Christmas Buffet for 20 people back in October but a few days before Christmas I had to message to ask if I could reduce numbers due to Covid. Sharon was great at communicating from Day 1 and was totally understanding about the whole thing. Wasn't entirely sure what to expect food wise as I knew there was a new chef but had not sampled any of the food. Well, what can I say! Nice pub with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Good selection of drinks and food options. A few TVs if you want to watch football. Dart board available and a good quality pool table. All ages welcome and it has a great little garden with some play equipment. It can get busy in the carpark at weekends or when something is on at the pub, but, you can park just down the road. Overall well worth a visit for a pint or two.

Always three hand-pulls, two being rotating guest beers and typically one changes weekly. Lots of keg selections. Friendly staff and locals who are happy to chat. VERY dog friendly! Great garden for a summer pint with the dogs or the kids. A rare, real "local" pub!
