What an excellent pub, we had a great time there, even though our little Peggy scared everyone off by shouting across the pub. Food was delicious and service very friendly. Wished we could have stayed longer...Kid-friendliness: They love kids there
Really lovely dog friendly pub and restaurant. We stopped during our 5 hour drive for a lunch break with the dog and 2 kids. No set kids menu, but very accommodating and offered smaller meals for them for really decent prices. Food was delicious too! And the garden is very pretty. Would absolutely go back if ever in the area again!

First visit my daughter lives near and we were only down for the weekend but she booked in for sunday lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed everything about the place and very sociable people who worked there will visit the next time we visit her ?
