First time I've been to the Running Mare, found it looked good from the outside and inside. Parking was easy and had a relaxing atmosphere with good food and the staff were helpful and pleasant.
A mega dinner with brilliant staff. Very attentive and professional. A large specials menu to choose from which I think is great to keep the menu fresh and with great options. One of the specials my partner had was a pork chop which was delicious ! The steak was cooked perfectly with a lovely peppercorn sauce. Lovely bottle of red wine and some scallops to start! A great place and would highly recommend it.

Had the most delicious roast chicken, partner had a trio of meat roast. They were both very tasty, lovely roast potatoes and the added bonus of cauliflower cheese at no extra cost. The best roast dinner around and the gravy was very tasty. Lovely choice of desserts which were equally delicious. Well done and will definately be back!!!
