The chicken wrap was absolutely delicious – full of flavor, perfectly seasoned, and the sauces complemented it so well. The fries were golden and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside – just perfect.
It’s rare to find a place where everything hits the spot: burger, wrap, fries, sauces – all outstanding. The portions are generous too, so you definitely get great value for money.
If you’re in Egham, this place is a must-try. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The Sichuan chicken was a good amount of numbing hot - no skimping on the peppercorns and I appreciate that as someone who loves chili! The staff were kind and helpful - giving us pointers for a couple of things off the menu (the greens) - yum! Everyone throughly enjoyed their meal, can’t wait to be back!

There was a small mishap wi the a double booking however the staff were very accommodating and shut the rest of the restaurant for the afternoon so we could have the function we desired. The staff were super attentive and very helpful throughout the day. Food was pre-chosen prior to the event due to the amount of people however we were able to choose from a variety of menus and mix and match so everyone was catered for. The meals were delicious all came out promptly and the children’s meals the matched. They even had plastic crockery and cutlery for the children which was a big hit. We all had a great time and hopefully will be back for our next celebration! Only downside is that the toilets are up quiet steep steps so for anyone that has difficulty with mobility may struggle with this.

168 High St, EghamI visit Caffe Gondola often and the last few times I had the Veal Escalope (twice) which comes with Spaghetti Napoli but I always ask for their delicious and generous portion of side salad instead, which comes with a very nice dressing. The Veal Escalope is huge, very thin as it should be and always perfectly cooked.\n\nOne of the days when I went there it was rather warm, so I had the Insalata Gondola (one of my favourites in the summer) and it was mouthwatering as always. It consists of lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, a generous amount of prawns with Marie Rose dressing, smoked salmon, sliced avocado and mozzarella cheese. The right choice on a warm Summer's Day.\n\nThe quality of the food is matched by the very attentive but professional and friendly service and nice atmosphere. The restaurant lends itself to larger groups and parties and has some outdoor seating under an awning. It is advisable to book, especially at weekends. \n\nAll in all, a great place to eat and socialise and it was my late Partner's favourite restaurant in Egham.

We ordered 6 tapas gf dishes which were all delicious and enough to fill our tummies. Service was friendly and prompt. Have been to Nostrano in Staines and this was way more civilised. The table in Nostrano was sticky and not cleared but this has put my faith back in thr chain. A great evening. Thank you ?

Our server I can’t remember her name but I believe she was from Slovakia, she didn’t rush us at all, was very attentive and made the experience. She recommended a tea which was similar to the English breakfast but more fragrant, superb recommendation. The pianist is fantastic and is an integral part of the service. This is the first afternoon tea I’ve been to which offers additional sandwiches without a surcharge and doesn’t give you a time limit. I’ll be returning for their winter one to see the different sweet treats!

38 High St, EghamPopped in here on a Sunday afternoon to try their roast. Place was very quiet and had the pick of where to sit. Decided to go for the topside beef. Food came out in decent time and was well presented and tasted very good. Unfortunately for me, i didnt notice on the menu when ordering that you can add extra meat which i probably would have done if id known i would only get a small portion (in my opinion). I did notice however that they do unlimited top-up with yorkshires and roast potatoes and gravy!! Overall enjoyed my visit and staff were friendly and welcoming. Thank you!

64/65 High St, EghamHaving spent a few hours in peace reading my book in this coffee shop today I can say how lovely the two ladies serving were. Especially the young girl, liana. I found her to be professional, friendly and polite. Communicated clearly and knew what she was doing even if she was unsure about how to make a frappe she'd not made before. All drinks were delicious. Drinks were quick, hot and well made, place was very tidy. Manager was a little sour but we all have off days!

There are Michelin-starred restaurants that deliver perfect plates, and then there is The Tudor Pass—where every dish is a story, every sip a scene, and every detail a piece of edible and nature-inspired art.
From the very first amuse-bouche, we fell in love and were guided through a gastronomic delight for over 3 hours.
The tone was set by the most warming, welcoming and cared for service we have ever experienced. We love this mighty team and were already planning our next visit and weekend stay before we left the table!
The cocktails were no less captivating. A blushing pink creation crowned with a raspberry felt like summer in a glass, light and sparkling. In contrast, an amber-hued old-fashioned, its citrus peel spiralling like a ribbon of sunset, offered depth, warmth, and a touch of smoky sophistication.
Top tier choices for us were the sourdough potato bread, trout, scallop and lamb - absolutely unreal.
Thank you, Chris, Alex, Rose, Luca, and Stefano, for not just feeding us, but transporting us. At The Tudor Pass, the table is your stage, and the performance is unforgettable. Thank you for making my husband’s birthday extraordinary.

Got a big bowl of fresh water and no one battered an eye, when she sat on the bench. We had wraps and a side of chips. Fresh and tasty. If we're in the area again,would pop in again. Note the road is one-way, the church parking lot is by parking disc only. We did find parking just around the corner. Was worth the parking hassle. A proper local.

I had a delivery from Yuan Guang on Good Friday and asked for a few changes to the meal as it was the one day of the year where I don't eat meat. 67 High St, EghamI went to Eat Thai with a friend earlier this week and as always the food (all freshly coked) and service was excellent.\nMy friend ordered from the Special Lunch Menu (a bargain at £7.95 for two courses) and I had the Duck salad from the A-la-carte menu, which is refreshing and plenty for me.\n\nI also went there today and again ordered from the A-la-carte Menu - Seared Scallops on a bed of lettuce, tomato , finely chopped peppers, onion and and a bit spicy.\nThe scallops were outstanding, there had been some supplier issues, but they were sublime today, washed down with their fabulous Thai Monsoon Valley white wine.\n\nThey also do a red Monsoon Valley which I can equally recommend. I used to order the Sauvignon Blanc or Merlot but the Monsoon Valley is so superior and much smoother.\n \nWanchai and Rung are such a lovey couple and I am always made to feel very welcome. I can highly recomend Eat Thai and the freshly cooked food.

Magic Wok Chinese Restaurant
17 High St, EghamI’ve eaten at Magic Chef Chinese Restaurant in Egham six times now, as I run a business nearby and it’s become our go-to spot for both client lunches and my own quick work meals. Each visit, whether eating in as a group or grabbing something alone, has been consistently excellent—Magic Chef is one of those rare places where the food really stands out every single time.
The quality of the food here is simply outstanding. Every dish I’ve tried has been delicious, always cooked perfectly and packed with authentic flavour. You can tell a lot of care goes into the cooking: the special fried rice is a standout, and dishes like Szechuan noodles show real attention to traditional Chinese recipes. There are some unique menu options you don’t find just anywhere, and it’s always exciting to discover something new—but what’s most impressive is that in all my visits, we have never had a bad meal.
Service at Magic Chef is also great. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming, which has made it easy to host business guests and also means you feel comfortable coming by yourself. Orders come out promptly, and if you’re a regular you can sense an extra level of attention. While pricing can be on the higher side, it feels completely justified given the consistently high quality of the food and the overall dining experience.
Perhaps the best thing about Magic Chef is the authenticity and skill in the kitchen: every meal tastes top-quality, fresh, and true to its roots, making it my favourite Chinese restaurant in the area by a long way. It’s a real gem for anyone working or dining in Egham, highly recommended for both business meals and casual visits alike

It is advisable to book, especially at weekends. \n\nAll in all, a great place to eat and socialise and it was my late Partner's favourite restaurant in Egham.

The Happy Man
12 Harvest Rd, Englefield Green, EghamRandom pick late Sunday afternoon. Made to feel welcome straight-away and my little Luna-Mae, treated like a welcome princess. Got a big bowl of fresh water and no one battered an eye, when she sat on the bench. We had wraps and a side of chips. Fresh and tasty. If we're in the area again,would pop in again. Note the road is one-way, the church parking lot is by parking disc only. We did find parking just around the corner. Was worth the parking hassle. A proper local.

Liberto Lounge
Unit C1, Gem House, Station Square North, Magna Square, EghamWent here with my daughter who is coeliac. They have a great gf menu. We were welcomed and served promptly. We ordered 6 tapas gf dishes which were all delicious and enough to fill our tummies. Service was friendly and prompt. Have been to Nostrano in Staines and this was way more civilised. The table in Nostrano was sticky and not cleared but this has put my faith back in thr chain. A great evening. Thank you ?
