We had a lovely stay here as a family. The rooms were lovely with the best tea and coffee making facilities I have experienced in a hotel room. Good shower, comfortable bed. A nice Dyson fan in lieu of air con. And a TV that actually worked without kerfuffle. It was also very peaceful once the pub chucked out around 10 to 10.30. Very pleasant, fairly quiet on the Friday lunchtime I visited. Restaurant menu is varied and mid priced I would say. All seemed to enjoy their meals. Outside the extra seating along the river bank was a pleasant surprise.

I had dinner at The Swan and was disappointed to be charged almost £100 for a 2 course meal with one bottle of wine for two people, especially when the bill included £11 service charge for staff simply doing their job of bringing the meal to the table.Quality of food was good but not £50 a head good.Food & drinks: See previous comments
