LampeterFood was absolutely amazing. The meat was so tender and the homemade stuffing... wow.
Mushy peas on a roast dinner was actually a nice surprise. Will defo come again.

Nehar Indian Takeaway
10 Bridge St, LampeterIt is a take away place so no real note for ambiance. Though it seems a cold place to wait in. Great food. Bangladesh owner. I asked him if the cuisine is from north or south, he told me that there is no difference!! I think that it is wrong. Different flavors if you are from the north or south India. I ordered chicken Masala and lemon rice and a nan. It was good, not fancy. Hence 4 stars.

Oscar’s Den
College St, LampeterStopped by Oscar’s Den while visiting Wales and couldn’t have felt more welcome. The staff were lovely, greeting us with big smiles and even giving our daughter a lollipop and drink which made her day. They happily adjusted the menu for us with no fuss, and the food was delicious , great quality, big portions and really reasonably priced too. If you’re from out of town and not sure where to go, this is definitely the place. We’ll 100% be back next time we’re in the area!

Conti's Cafe
5 Harford Square, LampeterLovely cafe to visit. We had sandwiches that were absolutely delicious. The sandwich came with a lovely side salad and crisps. We were served quickly and the waitress was lovely. We also used the toilets and they were spotless and beautifully decorated. I highly recommend this lovely, friendly cafe.

The treats and meals are just extraordinary and big thank to osian for introducing to the phenominol hidden gem of a Caffè in town. You will not be let down come to marklane.

8 College St, LampeterWas passing through lampeter after a 5.5 hour drive when we came across this restaurant. Was not let down! Food was lovely and flavoursome, and the atmosphere was relaxing but busy chatty vibes. Very clean and staff were very friendly. Dishes in pics were chicken tandoori byriani, korma sauce, bombay potatoes, lamb tikka sali boti, mushroom rice, and meat samosa. Well worth the stop! Had poppadoms ,chutneys 1 beer and water was £53 had a lot of options on the menu! We parked in Sainsbury's around the side ?

The Stables @ The Royal Oak Hotel
38 High St, LampeterA very welcoming pub with rooms. Very good value. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided in the room with a kettle. We had a smallish room at the back of the hotel, with a good shower. The pub offers some meals. No parking however we arrived on Saturday night and were able to park in the street until Monday morning. The clientele were noisy til closing time.

It was the best decision ever! Food was 10/10, price is good, the young boy provided good customer service. This made out trip to wales/snowdon worth it!
