LampeterFood was absolutely amazing. The meat was so tender and the homemade stuffing... wow.
Mushy peas on a roast dinner was actually a nice surprise. Will defo come again.

Nehar Indian Takeaway
10 Bridge St, LampeterI used to come here every so often as an undergraduate at Lampeter between 2015 and 2018. The food is top quality and most people would be pushed to find a better Indian takeaway only service in Wales. I cannot recommend this place enough! If only there was a seating area for eating in. Shahan is the same reliable and friendly owner of the place and it's one of the places in Lampeter which had never changed. Lovely to revisit!

5 Harford Square, LampeterFirst time at the cafe and it's very good. Blueberry Bakewell was lush and really enjoyed my lattes and bacon & sausage sandwich. It's also really interesting inside.

Oscar’s Den
College St, LampeterStopped by Oscar’s Den while visiting Wales and couldn’t have felt more welcome. The staff were lovely, greeting us with big smiles and even giving our daughter a lollipop and drink which made her day. They happily adjusted the menu for us with no fuss, and the food was delicious , great quality, big portions and really reasonably priced too. If you’re from out of town and not sure where to go, this is definitely the place. We’ll 100% be back next time we’re in the area!

15 Bridge St, LampeterWhat a lovely little cafe that seems to be very popular with the friendly locals (which I take as a glowing endorsement). The food is cooked to order so please take this into consideration & allow the time needed for an order to be completed. I didn't eat here but my family did & they said the food quality was high. The bacon & sausage looked (& apparently tasted) locally sourced from a butcher. The portions were generous & good value. I had an Americano coffee & again, it was very good quality. The staff were friendly & service was good. The cafe had a good atmosphere & I loved hearing the Welsh language being spoken all around me. The goods in the bakery also looked delicious & I would have loved to buy some bread, but sadly my gluten intolerance prevented it

14 High St, LampeterNice local café nestled into the high street. Food was good and at a great price and the place had a good local vibe with a few dogs and regulars. Service was a little disorganised and the staff somewhat flustered but it didn't take anything away from the experience, we just waited patiently until they were ready.

The Stables @ The Royal Oak Hotel
38 High St, LampeterA very welcoming pub with rooms. Very good value. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate provided in the room with a kettle. We had a smallish room at the back of the hotel, with a good shower. The pub offers some meals. No parking however we arrived on Saturday night and were able to park in the street until Monday morning. The clientele were noisy til closing time.

8 College St, LampeterWe were staying just outside of Lampeter and needed somewhere to eat. After reading some reviews we really weren't sure what to expect but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was hot, presented well and tasted lovely. Portions sizes were good too. Staff we nice and friendly, the restaurant could do with a little upgrade but was all clean.

13 Bridge St, LampeterTake away. Ordered Spicy Kung Pao chicken. I was disappointed because they cooked with tomato sauce. Not original receipt at all. Looks like they cook Welsh style!! Also I got a hot and sour soup and they put green peas!! Good portion but not as tasty as I would expect.

17 High St, LampeterAmazing food! Was actually recommended to go to the Chinese restaurant just down the road to this one, however that was shut when we went so we opted for this. It was the best decision ever! Food was 10/10, price is good, the young boy provided good customer service. This made out trip to wales/snowdon worth it!
