Pren-gwyn, LlandysulWent to Wales for a week's break. Our cottage was just up the road in Maesymellion. We had passed pub on way to find cottage. After a 4 hour journey, we were ready for something to eat. Went into pub and asked if they had any tables available and the lady at the counter checked her booking slips and managed to accomodate us a 4 table. We had the roast dinner, which we must say was absolutely amazing, good portion size, roast potato, cabbage, carrots, swede, mashed potato and garden peas. For desert we had lemon sponge and custard, which was absolutely devine, and jam sponge with custard. Amazing food at very reasonable prices. Would certainly go again should we be staying close by. Well done all the staff at The Gwarcefel Arms.

Y Porth Hotel
Church St, LlandysulWe stayed there for one night as we were attending a funeral. The hotel was nice, rooms could do with a bit updating but all was clean and we had a really good stay. The breakfast was amazing, the dinning area had a beautiful view and the staff was very helpful. I would really recommend this hotel.
Additionally the after funeral service was held there and the catering was really good.

Veganishmum
Unnamed Road, LlandysulNearly a year on from our first visit, and this is still our favourite vegetarian place to go to and the first place we turn to if we want to share an evening with a group of friends. It's like home away from home with the best food we've ever tasted, great choices that are continually changing, and incredible hosts that feel like friends. You simply can't beat the price either.

Ffostrasol Arms
Ffostrasol, LlandysulAfter many holidays in the area we came across this pub.
Warm welcome, reasonably priced drinks, fantastic food you will not leave hungry.
We ate 3 times here and every meal was lovely, I had the scampi, curry and lasagne my partner had gammon, pork loin and steak all meals were excellent and filling.
Highly recommend would definitely return when in the area.

Drefach Felindre, Felindre, LlandysulWhat an interesting and friendly pub! Tons of atmosphere, proper old fashioned pub. The landlord is great, and if real ale is your thing, they have some on draft. If I lived here, this would definitely be my local.

The Half Moon Inn
Station Rd, Pontwelly, LlandysulCute little pub with a friendly owner, uncharted wine selection and in one of the best settings on the edge of Caerfyrddin aka Carmarthen and Ceredigion.
If you are passing or local, check it out. I will be back to check the food out soon. The river near by is well worth a walk along the bank.

High St, LlandysulThese guys are the jewel of Llandysul. Everything about them is amazing— their prices are very fair, the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food!
The food is magnificent!
Every single item on their menu comes piping hot, stuffed to the brim and expertly cooked. You can order anything you like and they will have it prepared to perfection, right on time for pickup.
I've been coming here for many years now, and will continue to come for many more. :)

Rhydgoch, Ffostrasol, LlandysulA restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, it feels very Mediterranean. Excellent service. Very reasonably priced. We went on a foggy Tues evening in February and the place was warm and welcoming. We had our two children with us and there was something for everyone on the menu. The tiramisu is to die for. My only criticism is that the chocolate brownie was absolutely tiny and at £7+ it needs to be bigger.

Paris House, High St, LlandysulBy far, the better kebab house in the area. Had several dishes from the menu and can't compare to any other locally. Was lovely to have a takeaway and not have to drink a gallon of water after it.
