Unnamed Road, LlandysulNearly a year on from our first visit, and this is still our favourite vegetarian place to go to and the first place we turn to if we want to share an evening with a group of friends. It's like home away from home with the best food we've ever tasted, great choices that are continually changing, and incredible hosts that feel like friends. You simply can't beat the price either.

Y Porth Hotel
Church St, LlandysulGreat local pub with a very knowledgeable landlord when it comes to real ales. Also a good selection of larger. Beautiful setting in down by the river with a beer garden worth sitting in. Unfortunately aren't many left like this in Wales.

Drefach Felindre, Felindre, LlandysulWhat an interesting and friendly pub! Tons of atmosphere, proper old fashioned pub. The landlord is great, and if real ale is your thing, they have some on draft. If I lived here, this would definitely be my local.

Ffostrasol, LlandysulAfter many holidays in the area we came across this pub.
Warm welcome, reasonably priced drinks, fantastic food you will not leave hungry.
We ate 3 times here and every meal was lovely, I had the scampi, curry and lasagne my partner had gammon, pork loin and steak all meals were excellent and filling.
Highly recommend would definitely return when in the area.

Pren-gwyn, LlandysulBooked blind after a Google search for dog friendly pubs near SA44. What a find!!!! Would 100% recommend. Food was delicious, home cooked and plenty of it. Staff very friendly. Will definitely revisit if we stay locally again.

The Half Moon Inn
Station Rd, Pontwelly, LlandysulCute little pub with a friendly owner, uncharted wine selection and in one of the best settings on the edge of Caerfyrddin aka Carmarthen and Ceredigion.
If you are passing or local, check it out. I will be back to check the food out soon. The river near by is well worth a walk along the bank.

High St, LlandysulWe are visiting the area and after some research Chef China had the best reviews (and hygiene rating). The lady in the front was very friendly, ordered for collection over the phone easily. Cash point 2 mins away in the SPAR as it’s cash only. Food was ready on time and piping hot, even after travelling 20 minutes back. Food was excellent. Added photos of up to date menu.

Lincoln St, LlandysulGreat place, food cooked and presented beautifully. The lamb roast with vegetables, red wine gravy and mint sauce, was served with Malbec, red wine. Paris House, High St, LlandysulBy far, the better kebab house in the area. Had several dishes from the menu and can't compare to any other locally. Was lovely to have a takeaway and not have to drink a gallon of water after it.
