The Rock & Fountain Inn
LLanvaches Lane, PenhowMet a colleague for lunch, easy to find and good access with plenty of parking. Lovely atmosphere inside, was busy so recommend booking as this was a Tuesday. Staff really friendly and helpful, good choice only drinks available. I ordered the Gammon of the main menu and was excellent, can't fault this for pub food at all. Would.highly recommend for location, atmosphere, quality and service.

But most importantly the level of service and customer care is the best i’ve ever had the pleasure of receiving. My friend amd I have been coming back to this restaurant for a few years and they always look after us to such a high standard. I had the Methi and it comes very highly recommended. They really seem to care about the food and the service they provide throughout the whole team.
ABSOLUTELY CLASS! Keep up the great work.

The Golden Lion
23A The Square, Magor, CaldicotFabulous meal after a long hike from Newport to Redwick. Staff were super friendly and accommodating, making us feel really welcome. There were plenty of choices of tables inside the pub and the food arrived quickly after ordering. Very generous with their portion sizes, biggest gammon steak I think I've ever had! Great place for food and drink with friends.

Newport Rd, Magor, CaldicotThis place is a hidden gem. I happened to stumble upon them on a random day when i was in the area for work. The food is amazing but that people are even better. I was in for literally under 10 mins ordering some takeaway and walked away having the most wholesome human connection. The owner was so friendly and great banter too. this place must be treasured and wish there were more of them. Will definitely visit again. 5 stars!

Chozen Noodle
M4 J23A, MagorA small Pan-Asian noodle corner where you get exactly what you expect from an Asian fast-food place. Honestly, I enjoyed it more than Wasabi. The food was tasty, fresh, and satisfying. The only downside was that the lady serving us didn’t know how two of the dishes tasted when we asked – I feel like staff should at least be familiar with what they’re selling. Still, I got exactly what I was hoping for, so overall it’s a solid 4 stars.

Ground Floor, Wales 1 Business Park, Unit 103A, Unit 103 Magor Rd, PartInterestingly it's possible this Subway might not be here for long, which is a shame because it's rather good. Great service from (I think her name was Jade?), who made an excellent BMT and provided good portions of the contents, which these days is rare at Subway. My order was made efficiently and correctly, and there was plenty of room to eat in. Please keep this Subway open, it's a good en.

M4 J23a (East & West Bound, Magor, CaldicotThis is a busy motorway services which on occasion can be difficult to even park, especially if there are something to see in Cardiff.
The food was great, it was prepared quickly and hot. Staff were pleasant even though it was VERY busy.
