The Margin Cafe
Marton Rd, Long Itchington, SouthamHubby and I love hunting down new brekkie places! so we visited The Margin Café, and it did not disappoint. The menu had something for everyone – from a full English to classic bacon butties, with vegetarian options too. It’s a cosy little place and we were lucky to grab the last two seats. Now let’s talk coffee. As full-on coffee fanatics, we’re very fussy about both the flavour and how it’s made – and this coffee was absolutely spot on. There was a bit of a wait for food (seemed like they were making one order at a time), but honestly? Totally worth it. Hubby had a breakfast bap that was stacked and full of flavour. I went rogue and built my own: scrambled eggs on toast, with bacon and black pudding – and yes, they butter the toast, which wins them serious bonus points! The place had a lovely, relaxed vibe, and the four staff members were working non-stop. Highly recommend a visit – we’ll definitely be back!

The Two Boats Inn
Southam Rd, Long Itchington, SouthamLovely canal side location. Delicious baguettes but poor coffee. Service was slow and only just welcoming. It's a very dog friendly pub and is promoted as such. What I didn't like is customers allowing their dogs to sit on the tables and the pub staff didn't respond. Not good if you've then got to eat off the same table. But overall nice.

Blue Lias Inn
Stockton Rd, Stockton, SouthamDidn't eat here just attended the car boot selling ... its an ok carboot but the organisation of getting the booters in appears very stressful and chaotic they say they open at 10 for sellers. When we got there was hundreds of buyers and sellers it wasn't even 10am .. people had to be turned away as no room for sellers or parking
