Café 16
16 Market Hill, SouthamThis is, and I cannot stress this enough, the nicest place I've ever been too. The service goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome. I go down to this place with my grandmother about once a week and it's the highlight of my day. Today, for example, a large family came in and the owner got them extra chairs, gave all the kids biscoff biscuits, and made one of the kids meals smaller on request. When my brother was younger, the owner used to let my brother watch football highlights on his phone. Food is always nice and fills you up. Cannot recommend this place enough.?

Napton Village Stores
New St, Napton on the Hill, SouthamLovely untraditional village shop. A cross between a village shop and farm shop, with the added bonus of a small cafe. Friendly staff and a very basic post office.

The Bell Inn
Banbury Rd, Ladbroke, SouthamStayed in a hut when attending a wedding at the nearby Warwick House. The hut was very clean and well equipped including a selection of tea and coffee bags. The staff were very efficient, friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast pack included croissants, flapjacks, cereals, milk, apple juice and bottled water.
The Bar in the Bell Inn has a good selection of Ales, Beers and lagers on draught. The Restaurant is well laid out with plenty of room between tables. Never had time to try the restaurant food but the menu caters for all tastes.

The Buck & Bell
Green End, Long Itchington, SouthamThis is a lovely traditional English pub, it is suitable for all ages. Has a nice menu at very reasonable prices, regular entertainment, book library, children's slide. Pool table etc, bear garden, dinning area, fire side etc. It has a lot to offer. Appears to be having some slow refurbishment, that was needed and it's looking very welcoming and fresh.
Playground and nature walk next door.
Highly recommended.

Annabella Bakes
Gaydon Rd, Bishop's Itchington, SouthamThis is honestly the best cookie pie I've ever eaten! I turned up really late to Alcester food festival to see Annabellas stall practically swiped clean! Now I know why! Usually for me cookie pies are too sweet and rich for me, they always feel like biting into a whole jar of sickly sweet spread! The only items left were, banoffee cookie pie and two blondies! As someone who doesn't like blondies, I considered not buying! In the end, I basically cleared up the stall, mainly so they could go home! This was the best decision I ever made! The banoffee cookie pie is honestly the best baked item I've ever eaten! I'm not even really a banana fan! It's not artificial tasting, not too sweet, it's perfect in EVERY WAY, it's light and crispy on the edges, gooey in the middle and perfectly balanced! Needless to say I'll be buying LOTS more! Thank you Annabella!

China Hall
15 Market Hill, SouthamWe skirted by Southam on our journey from Dunkirk to Blackpool just so we could visit our favourite Chinese food takeaway. We had stayed on a number of occasions nearby in Marton and always made sure we visited this excellent establishment. We only ordered part of the usual meal we have ordered but it gave us the boost we needed to carry on and complete the journey in one day. Evidence that it is a good place to go? ALWAYS customers in front of and behind you combined with speedy service.

The Bowling Green
Coventry St, SouthamBrilliant pub situated in lovely southam. Large pub garden . Cosy inside . All the bar staff are really lovely. Great pint of pale ale . Dog friendly in the bar area & garden. We have enjoyed the food very much . Lunch menu was lovely & varied & well priced. The haddock sandwich was enjoyed by my wife , nice ample portions. & I enjoyed the ploughman's sandwich with chips & salad . Some branston pickle on the side would have made it even better. We would definitely recommend this pub , especially dog owners who can rest for a while & enjoy the food & drink. Thanks to everyone at the Bowling Green for making our visits so enjoyable. We will be back soon . ?
