We turned up at around 13.50. There was a shortage of staff, and tables that had been vacated were left with all the used plates and glasses.We sat at such a table for 10 minutes and didn't see any staff member clearing up.We cleared the table ourselves.We weren't having much success using the app, so I joined the queue to order at the bar. Visited on a very wet Monday evening not too many customers in so not busy but a nice atmosphere. But the amount of tables that needed clearing and wiping down was unbelievable, staff just wandering around at a slow pace and not bothered. Food arrived fairly quickly but the server didn't think to clear the nearby tables at the same time, all tables had used plates, glasses and cutlery for the duration of our visit, yet there were enough staff to tackle this. Visited at lunch time with friends and had our lunch. Also came back at night as bar was open until 1 am and the oldest member of our party who is 87 liked to stay out late enjoying himself while on a weekend break.
