73 Mount Pleasant, KingswinfordWe’ve been coming to this lovely spot for around seven years now, and it remains our absolute favourite – especially when it comes to Thai cuisine. It’s a real gem of a place, tucked away but well worth seeking out.
The staff are always incredibly friendly and accommodating, which we really appreciate – particularly as we often arrive with our three little princesses in tow (who can be rather demanding at times!). They’re always met with smiles and patience, which makes such a difference.
The food is consistently delicious – always bursting with flavour and made to a high standard. It's refreshing to see a place maintain its quality so well over the years, unlike some of the larger establishments that can become hit and miss.
This is a true family-run business, clearly loved by locals and even those travelling from further afield. It’s easy to see why – not only is the food exceptional, but the prices (especially at lunchtime) are great value for money.
They also serve a good local ale, a nice selection of cocktails, and the Thai desserts are genuinely to die for. All in all, this is a place that has stolen our hearts – and our taste buds – and we’ll keep coming back for many more years to come.

We thought we'd try take away Delivery via Uber eats( Friday night). The food did not disappoint! It arrived hot, super tasty and fresh. Even with it being a busy Friday night then food came in about 40 mins which is the usual wait time for anything off of Uber eats.
Thanks for an amazing meal. Will be enjoying alot more often now we know you deliver!

My 'afters' was a lovely huge chocolate sundae. Can't say too much about how good 'the engine room' is and lovely staff make this place a treasure. Very happy.

High St, KingswinfordOur usual early Friday night out but time was against us so we thought of this unpretentious little place as it's only a couple of minutes from the house. It is also unlicensed which is always a bonus.
Unfortunately, we decided to skip our shared sheekh kebab and went from poppadoms into mains. The chutney tray was excellent but the poppadoms were not the crispiest (if there is such a word) that we've ever had. The mains were mixed, my Jalfrezi was very good, but the wife was less keen on her balti. The sides of garlic & coriander naan and chips were perfect. The service was very friendly and attentive without being instrusive.
The bill was extremely competitive, indeed it told me that that we don't need to order so much in the future.
The tables are quite close, and unfortunately we sat next to a family with young feral children which put a bit of a damper on the atmosphere.
However, looking around you could see it was very popular with the locals and I notice it's typically very busy when I'm occasionally passing by.
Toilets are up a narrow steep staircase which some people may have difficulty in negotiating. There is parking across the road by the community centre but not sure if they ever lock the gates.

458 High St, KingswinfordWasn't happy first time ordering couple of months ago but decided to give it another go. Order again via just eat and the massive improvement made me edit my review. Calzones were great with plenty of filling. Extra request fulfilled. Nice delivery driver and cheaper delivery fee. Will defo order again.
All I would say is maybe add margherita to the calzone menu.

The Hinksford Arms
Swindon Rd, Swindon, KingswinfordWe went to the Hinksford Arms for Sunday lunch with some friends. The chef came out and introduced himself, and said that he's just come back from Weymouth where he'd worked previously. He's now taken over the kitchen at this place, and seemed quite proud of his new challenge.
We placed our order at the bar, and the food came out relatively quickly. I went for the roast pork which came with a pig in blanket, yorkshire pud, carrots, broccoli, red cabbage, green cabbage, roast tatties, and stuffing. Quite a plateful. It was nice and hot, with plenty of gravy and he even brought out some apple sauce, and it was all delicious.
For dessert, I tried the Choc Orange Delice with vanilla ice cream and that was lovely.
We would certainly come back again, as the food and service is great.

3A Dingle Rd, KingswinfordThis place was okay at best the pizza weren't high quality but we're still quite nice to be honest it has plenty of choices of pizzas including meat feast,create your own,pepperoni and many more all at a standard price if your looking for a cheap pizza around I would suggest going here as a 9 inch margarita is only about 4.50 I have left some pics of the pizzas below

Staff decorated the table in advance with balloons & other items I had dropped off earlier. Fantastic service start to finish. Owners & staff were all so friendly, welcoming & attentive throughout the meal. The food was cooked to perfection, delicious & plentiful. All fresh, homemade dishes. Steaks were cooked just as each person had requested. Drinks are reasonably priced. Could not fault it. We will most definitely be back soon. Highly recommend The Bell Inn Kingswinford.

534 High St, KingswinfordHad to pop in to see the new manager, this due to my connections with a local historical organisation and local school. There has been great upheaval at the Cottage recently. The manager stated that the last incumbent had left taking everything that wasn't nailed down. Although open, it is to be refurbished and new tenants move in. So my review is really a hope that the pub will carry on and have success in the long term. So many all over the country have closed.

2 High St, Pensnett, Brierley Hill, KingswinfordThis is the 1st time I have visited the lenches bridge , it's a nice spacey area inside and out , and you can eat in either, the food I had was a breakfast brunch, 110% spot on for me with home made hand cut chips as well, I'm not sure what the menu is on a night as it's not pub grub menu more of working man cafe , I would like to see a pub grub menu appear, food value was fair as using quality ingredients for the meal , I was a only saying to a friend it could be cheaper but you wouldn't have half as nice meal , all the staff I interact with were super nice and accommodating, we will return very soon .

Then there's the Restaurant, the food was hot, beautifully cooked and tasted so good. The Blackberry & Almond Scones with a drizzle of icing over the top were out of this world. It's probably a good job I live 2 hours drive away or I'd be seriously addicted! 10/10
