A great pub. A classic pub. A wide variety of ales on tap and friendly knowledgeable bar staff that can tell about the brews they are serving. Nice little area out the back for some fresh air if needed. Recommended. ??
Great pub. Excellent and sympathetic use of the building, love that you can see the tap room at the back. The bar feels open and friendly - the landlord is a top bloke, knowledgeable and welcoming. Excellent choice and range of beers on the 15 pulls (including a few ciders) and traditional pub snacks. There's a telly often showing the football but it's a nice, safe crowd.The kind of place where whatever your age or gender, you feel safe and comfortable.
