I love a chickaros. If you come in expecting a 5* banquet you’ll never appreciate the charm of chickaros. I really recommend their lamb chops, any of the grilled chicken options and you HAVE to get chicka chips, it is none negotiable. If that doesn’t suit your preferences, don’t worry they boast a varied menu with many options for starters, mains and even desserts. Saucy, filling and so tasty. The right amount of flavour and portion size. Forget Nandos, it’s a thing of the past, it’s all about chickaros these days. Get to know!! And the staff at the West Bromwich branch are lovely. Just know to take cash!! Otherwise they will offer bank transfer, only downfall in my eyes

Lucarelli Restaurant

Popped in for lunch, great level of service and I was very happy with the price and quality of food. 3 people all with starters and mains. less than £110. can't complain at all

The New Hen & Chickens Bar & Grill

Credit where credit is due, I rarely write reviews but the food at the Hen and Chickens knocks its competitors out of the park. We’ve been to every curry house in the area, and one of our favourites is award winning restaurant in Stourbridge. The food here is on par and very reasonably priced considering. If you’re in the West Bromwich area, it’s worth a visit for taste!

The island inn

Newly refurbished. Decorated nicely. Food lovely. My only qualm is that the £27.95 island inn mixed grill is not nearly big enough to justify that price tag. Needs more food on there. Hopefully they can sort this out.

Very nice atmosphere, and the people were super nice and asking questions just in case because the app was missing some options. I’d definitely come back again if I happen to pass by West Bromwich again ?

The Lewisham Bar & Restaurant

Attended a special evening with friends on 02/09/2025 at the Lewisham Bar and Restaurant. This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was very impressed ?
Cozy and nice decor, lovely atmosphere with friendly and attentive staff and the food was on point. I loved it and would definitely visit again. I've already recommended it to a friend ??

Interceptor

Today, me and my partner were served by Nay! She was lovely, very chatty and polite. She ensured that our drinks were served as soon as possible and that we were greeted with a friendly smile and some welcoming conservations! The wait time was minimal and we had our drinks and food served within 15 minutes of arriving at the restaurant. Me and my partner plan to return in the future! Thank you for such lovely service!?

The Railway Inn

Food was absolutely amazing drive over from northfield to here and was not disappointed will definitely go back as it’s up there with the best if not the best I’ve ever had

The Red Lion

Not been to a Indian restaurant like this .. very very good be prepared to take doggy bags home as potions are huge .. recommend the large mixed as a starter for 8 people .. curry and the rice's are lovely ... Fortunately a bit to far for me to travel to on a regular basis .. but will go again

Hot Stuff Pizza

In my humble opinion, this is the best piace anywhere. I'd eat from here every day if I could. The staff are great, the pizzas are delicious - and there's actually cheese on them, which is more than can be said for the so-called big chains.

Greggs

When a delivery driver delivered the wrong food I phoned the driver and told him he wasn't bothered so I took the food back to Greggs and they was very helpful and sorted out my order and apologised for the driver

Kid-friendliness: Staff was very helpful and perlite you should be proud of your staff here

Akash Balti Restaurant

Akash Balti is a great spot for a good meal. The food was tasty, well-cooked, and full of flavour — you can tell they put care into their dishes. The service was also very good, with staff who were friendly and attentive without being overbearing.

The restaurant itself has a warm, welcoming atmosphere, making it a nice place for a relaxed evening out. The only reason I’ve given 4 stars instead of 5 is that while everything was solid and enjoyable, it didn’t quite have that extra “wow” factor to make it perfect.

Overall, a really good experience — I’d definitely come back again and recommend it to anyone looking for quality food and good service in a comfortable setting.

Chapman chippy used to be in Chapman street many years ago and owned by the previous owner ! After moving out the area many years ago I decided to pop in the other week and I can say that the owner & staff are very friendly and found that they give you more than value for your money with the chips compared to my area .*****

ROSE PIZZA

We ordered on Just Eat from here today, food was nice and hot. My only small gripe is the menu says chips and pictures on here suggest they are chips but are more like fries. However they were tasty but would have preferred proper chips!

Cantonese House

We have ordered from the Cantonese house for the first time tonight and we are so impressed, the food is delicious, we ordered a salt and chilli chicken, rice,chips and BBQ sauce and a four seasons, we will definitely use this place from now on . Thank

CHINA GARDEN Chinese Takeaway

Had a few meals from here via just eat. My wife is partial to salt n pepper squid. There isn't many Chinese takeaways that cook it. The other dishes we're tried has been nice and tasty.

No.1 Pizza

I ordered family size pizza half tandoori chicken and half Veggi and large chips. I paid £19 inc delivery. The food was really tasty and hot when delivered. I have tried other places but you can’t beat no1 pizza. The base of the pizza is also filled with lots of toppings. 5 stars all the way thankyou

Ordered half vegan meat feast and half paneer hot pizza for takeaway ,, service was great,still piping hot when I got home ,,chilli sauce in small pots was great ,,will definitely grab another pizza passing by again ?

Dixy Chicken

Dixys always has the best food. My go to order is a chicken burger with chips, when I ask for it plain they always make it plain! Tasty food, one of my fav places to eat.

Starbucks

Whoever is working at 4am on Friday, thank you very much for making me my pumpkin chai. He thoughtfully crafted his own version and it’s so nice. I really appreciated that he asked me before adding anything aswell. He truly deserves a raise.

McDonald's

Our usual Mcdonald's when we eat in. Despite not many parking places, we usually get a spot.

Tried special Easter latte and Mcflurry Highlights recommend them.

Staff pleasant and place clean

Subway

This is a good subway especially in Finsbury Park, because it is not very busy so if you're in the hotel (for example) and you want something to eat if you go to the subway then you'll get your food quicker.

I went by myself, because the wife is vegan and gluten free, but she wasn't keen on Subway this subway because last time {Finsbury Park}she had to ask the server to change his gloves.

I went there at about 9:30p.m.

The Three Horseshoes

OK, harsh with the food score, but that's only because they only offer cobs and pork pie, but these are excellent quality and worth the trip on their own
Staff are always great and of course the choice of beers is excellent. Pricey by wednesbury standards but worth every penny.
Well kept and welcoming and the garden is bang on.

Eatwise Takeaway West Bromwich

Returned costumer. The service did go down . As my regular takeaway was closed we decided to order . We pleasantly surprised how good the food tasted. The shop had been cleaned up . Will we place another order from here ? yes i think we will. Keep up the hard work guys and thanks ????

Georges Fish Bar

Been eating from here for years, the quality is great. Living abroad, l always make an effort to visit at least twice as their battered chips and fish is outstanding. My whole family loves it. Highly recommend.

Classic Fish Bar

I am not local to the area, in fact I live in Derby but just happened to be in the area. My daughter had told me how great the takeaway is. Unbeatable prices, great food. I had mini fish chips and curry sauce. Son had chicken burger and chips. It's all freshly cooked. Chips were great.
Next time I will try some Pakoras.

Paratha Express

Haven't been there for a while...today the paratha size was a bit smaller...I mean I always order 2 anyway (1 to takeaway)...but before 1 was enough to fill u up...today that wasn't the case...but the taste as always very good and the staff is friendly and give an ambiance of family always
