Decided to go out for lunch & the gate house is close & I got 20% off with my blue light card. I had a super special Mediterranean seabass & because its Thursday I could have a free starter or pudding so chocolate fudge cake & ice cream it was. The hubby had a southern fried chicken baguette with cheese & green leaf salad. It was delicious we throughly enjoyed it. Staff were really friendly & helpful. Christmas Day lunch. What a fantastic idea. We have never had Christmas lunch out before. The whole team at the Gatehouse have been so helpful, including accommodating one of our group who us Gluten free. Thank you, Gatehouse.

We had our Christmas Day lunch at the Gatehouse and went in with low expectations but left completely impressed. Staff friendly and welcoming with prompt service. Food was very good and we're completely converted to having Christmas Dinner out. Would highly recommend.
