Nice place, Nice staff and service, Ate here, the food was great, As was the price ! Recommended Also a good central location. The odd name is Pontefract, translated into English, Ponte ( Bridge ) Fract (Fractured/Broken ) Cannot see a broken bridge nearby though.
Pleasant staff, good food for 10 of us served close together even though we paid separately. We have used Wetherspoon's all over Britain and find them reliable and consistent.Kid-friendliness: Four of our party were young children. We felt welcomed and not tolerated.

Food and drink to the usual 'spoons standard. Table clearance shocking - were left looking at our empty plates for an hour or so. Ordered 2nd round of drinks on the app and even when they were brought, they failed to clear the table.
