The landlady went above and beyond to make our group feel welcome in this homely pub ... she even offered to do four shuttle trips to take us all back to the accommodation we were staying at for the weekend, as she was concerned about the foggy conditions for our walk back.
Incredible all over , can not fault this place and the lady that owns it is extremely hard working ! Plus the dog Tilly is the best ? we came across it after doing a local Geocaching loop!I read a review stating that the building was a little "tired" in which I had to laugh the building is over 400 years old ?Personally I thought the building was beautiful and very well maintained , they even have the added bonus of a skittle alley out the back.Definitely worth a visit if in the...read full review

A lovely, cosy pub in a perfect quintessentially English village. The Rare Breed is a great drop, the Guinness is well kept and perfectly served and the burger is delicious. Great pub grub in a warm, friendly atmosphere.
