Rose’s at Duck Lane
2-4 High St, SheffordCamping in the area and popped in on our look around the town. We had fat white, cappuccino raspberry and pistachio cake , and biscoff cake. The cakes were fresh, light, not too sweet and delicious, high quality handmade cakes. The coffee was hot and rich . My only very small comment is a smile goes a long way from staff but it is a very small comment

Was a good choice of 5 options for each course
We had starters of Rabbit Terrine and a Mushroom and Artichoke Tart
Main Course of Duck
And Deserts of Pineapple and Coconut Mousse and Red Berries Mousse
The food was amazing just fab
The staff and service here is always First Class.

8 High St, SheffordA large booking for 15 people. Due to the time of year the restaurant was full so it was loud which made it difficult when our food arrived and we couldn't hear who's was who's. The food however was delicious as always and the staff are very friendly and professional

It seemed like young fella didn’t want us there . He was distant and unfriendly. Myself coming from Turkey I expected maybe few words in Turkish . Although I spoke to him in Turkish he wasn’t interested in what I have to say . During ordering I asked if we could order a coban salata and only pointed out that they only do Greek salad . What made our lunch worthwhile was gentleman called ILKER . He came to give us our bill . He was chatty , friendly and polite. Only when he was there we felt welcomed .a friendly suggestion to owners please train your staff to be polite and friendly with customers . Great food, fast service and atmosphere is not enough .

105 High St, Meppershall, SheffordRogers bakery is a gem in the village of Meppershall, old style family bakery ran by father and son since the 1980's, fresh bread, cakes, donuts ,made to order birthday cakes all cooked in a massive old wood styled oven ( now converted to oil) the taste, smells and quality of products from the bakery are legendry...parking is a bit tight as next to a school where all the mums park their SUV's at drop off and pick up times, but get there inbetween an have their delicious products

Ale is priced well and the best thing is the namesake. The Admiral, with a portrait of Lord Horatio Nelson on the sign. Hurrah! Rule Britannia!

In the past sometimes service was a little slow but recently service has been prompt, food has been excellent, like really, really good chips, so hot, dry (not greasy) and tasty. Well done and thank you. And the staff have been friendlier, more human and smiling which helps a lot!

The Loft Shefford
Northbridge St, SheffordToday my mum and I came to the loft. It was our first time. We entered and were warmly greeted by Lily. Lily was so happy and welcoming. We sat at a very clean table by the window. We ordered our brekkie and what was serviced to us, well, what can I say. The food was out of this world. Portion sizes were incredible and quality was second to done. We had an amazing hour or so at the loft and will definitely be back. Thank you to lily and the chef. 100% recommend.
