first time going and stayed over night in the camper van in their car park. had roo book early though, bit that cause the food is 1st class n plenty on your plates prices are very reasonable too. staff where very friendly helpful and always happy n smiling all night long hence give em a genouriuos tip. then went in to the bar and we watched the footy while have a few drinks with the locals or regulars and they even made the night so special. would I recommend ir. dam right I would and again for good measure. so ty to the staff and everyone else there for making g it a truely beautiful evening

Called in today for some lunch with family waitressed on again by the lovely Karen who is an absolute credit to the pub and restaurant always professional without being intrusive ans always shows interest in out 3 year olds day . What a lovely lady . Food comes out hot and quick to the table well presented good portion size and very well priced . Been a couple of times just lately and we have booked for Christmas eve and also breakfast with santa and im sure it will be just as good . Area clean and comfortable staff approachable and professional

My son and I called in for lunch before going to the theatre. We shared a pepperoni pizza with chilli and a rocket side salad. The food was delicious, one of the best pizzas I’ve had.They were friendly and accommodating. Will be back we we book another theatre trip.

Excellent customer service from sam the young man who was our server for the afternoon, also manager sam , we were supposed to be in the conservatory, but too cold for party of 10 so we were fine with moving and put next to a radiator sam was very good in sorting everything out for us all . Food was lovely, we had the 2 course Sunday lunch , great value.
The only thing we all said is that it was far to cold in there and should of had the big fire on .
Also would love to give a massive shout out we booked the table and year ago and have had some great and lovely emails from her from start to finish thank you vikkie Excellent customer service, so sorry we missed you
We will be back as a family.

We came for a work lunch a couple of weeks ago, it was just opening and we were the first in so it was quiet. The food was good, it’s standard pub fare. I had the biggest burger on the menu, I’ve had better pub burgers but not many.

I can’t comment on the atmosphere as it was for lunch and not many in. I know they do plenty of events including a book club once a month which my wife goes to. There is shuffle board too which looks fun.

The decor is great, it’s a large but cosy pub. I’d recommend it for lunch and even for those working from home who want a change of scenery.

Think they used to do chips and olives (and Loosa juices) but Folkington appears to be an excellent brand of juice as a replacement. As is the easily accessible bar snack point of sale. Also on the non-alcoholic front I also can throughly recommend 0% Kölsch - it knocks spots off 0% Leffe .

Had lunch today after a hospital appointment. It had been recommended to us. Everything was home made and delicious and they are home made chips which were gorgeous!! I have problems which means I can't eat a large portion. Options of small portions would be good. So nice not to be eating remade food warmed in a microwave. Definitely going back next hospital appointment. I may have the cheesecake as a main course. Can't wait!

From the warm and genuine welcome, the calming ambience, the attentive service from lovely owners, the top notch coffee and the superb selection of vegan and veggie food, all as fresh as can be and excellent portion sizes. Add to that the delicious cake (if you can fit it in) and you have an compelling reason for visiting Crewe. Imagine an ideal veggie/vegan cafe. Your image won't be far from Open Mind.

We ordered a takeaway from here for the first time on Sunday, 30th March, after experiencing issues with our previous favourite Chinese takeaway.

We ordered the chicken and sweetcorn soup, hot and sour soup, Singapore vermicelli, chicken curry, fried rice, and spring rolls.

They have a five-star food hygiene rating. The food did not disappoint and was amazing.

The counter staff were struggling a little and seemed to be inexperienced, but the food was definitely worth the wait.

We will definitely order from there from now on!
