The Yew Tree Inn
Spurstow, TarporleyManager potentially saved our lives! Staying in a wee cabin down the road with limited fuel for our fire left and loads of snow coming down - 3 logs kept us toasty through the night and stopped us from dying. Delicious food, too!

Pesto at Cabbage Hall
Forest Rd, Cotebrook, TarporleyAbsolutely amazing time here, planning on going to oulton park for the British gt3 and then finish it off with a pesto is just an amazing experience. Food is outstanding and the price is very reasonable aswell.

Pinfold Ln, Little Budworth, TarporleyLet us stay overnight in our campers on the car park even though no food was available due to chef holidays. Called in for a couple of beers, good range on offer and a good atmosphere with a few locals enjoying a tea time pint. Lad behind the bar left the toilets open overnight for us, will definitely call again when kitchen is open. Has village shop in the car park which also serves hot drinks, pies etc and breakfasts at weekends.

6, Chestnut Terrace, TarporleyFab little bakery! Lovely fresh pastries, bread and savoury bits. If you’re missing boujee pastries from a city and you live in north Shropshire, hop across the boarder to this gem.
Pastries change regularly, so you’re always guaranteed something special. Would recommend the Spanakopita and pistachio cruffin.
The ladies that work there are a delight too!

Fantastic service, lovely traditional pub setting… Absolutely everything you could want from a country pub. Will definitely be back and couldn’t rate the place high enough thank you. Xx

Loved the one bar electric fire and very traditional outside toilets. If you come in the summer you may be able to see a crown green bowling game being played.

My hubby went with a Nice English Sav Blanc & me with a Spanish Sav Blanc. We were so comfortable & cozy we hand a 2nd round. The service was Excellent!! Im a customer service Executive & i would want Josh on my team. Thanks we will be back!

Would definitely recommend if you're heading down the A49 looking for a characterful food & drink break. We'll be back for a return visit.

We always have a great time here, whether it’s a family lunch or a cozy dinner. And I especially love their choice of house champagne . Such an elegant touch that makes every visit feel a little bit special.
A truly charming spot that always feels like a treat , we can’t wait to come back again.

The Village Chippy
School Ln, Bunbury, TarporleyI would give this place a 20 out of 10 if I could and I used to manage a successful chippy myself. Fish and chips were amazing as were the staff and owner. We have been before and will go again. Well worth the drive from Whitchurch and back.

Beeston, TarporleyHad a really lovely visit at Sandstone Café today, after I visited the BeeStone Castle. I ordered two hot drinks and really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the area. The lovely lady who served me was so happy and friendly – thank you for the warm service! ?
There are also plenty of tables (around 18) so it’s a great spot to sit, relax, and take your time.

Waiter & gent on the desk were both very professional, friendly and attentive.
Food was absolutely delicious! Good ingredients and fresh. No complaints what so ever.
Very generous portions, so much so we ended up taking about half back to our hotel with us.
Great prices, spend £20/£30+ more for the same dishes down south.
The whole establishment was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated, pleasant Indian music playing in the background.
We were the only customers dining in however the takeaway was booming.
The fact they don't serve alcohol wasn't an issue at all, honestly who needs alcohol to appreciate good food?

I asked about the gluten free breakfast as I'm coeliac and they lady on the counter was helpful. Took about 30 mins from ordering to arriving but it's always a bit longer for GF anywhere in my experience. Reasonably priced and you get a lot of food. Definitely be eating here again.
