Pinfold Ln, Little Budworth, TarporleyLet us stay overnight in our campers on the car park even though no food was available due to chef holidays. Called in for a couple of beers, good range on offer and a good atmosphere with a few locals enjoying a tea time pint. Lad behind the bar left the toilets open overnight for us, will definitely call again when kitchen is open. Has village shop in the car park which also serves hot drinks, pies etc and breakfasts at weekends.

51 High St, TarporleyWe came in here for a tea and a cake whilst visiting Tarporley. We had a pot of tea for 2. I had a Victoria sponge cake and my wife had the scone both really nice and the prices were good only £12.35. Would recommend.

6, Chestnut Terrace, TarporleyFab little bakery! Lovely fresh pastries, bread and savoury bits. If you’re missing boujee pastries from a city and you live in north Shropshire, hop across the boarder to this gem.
Pastries change regularly, so you’re always guaranteed something special. Would recommend the Spanakopita and pistachio cruffin.
The ladies that work there are a delight too!

Forest Rd, Cotebrook, TarporleyFirst time first time definitely will not be my last the menu the choices are great. we had day menu 3 choices £14.50 worth every penny. Staff very friendly and helpful the food choice and taste was excellent, restaurant kept well clean and tidy excellent parking. The only criticism was sitting near the bar could be load on occasion due to banging. highly recommended.

Cotebrook, Tarporleybeen out for a family drive from Shropshire to Manchester called in for a drink on way back then decided let's have something to eat daughter had small haddock and chips myself and the wife had a small Sunday roast which was absolutely delicious will definitely be calling again

Chester Rd, TarporleyIf you love a pub in a time warp you will love this pub. Nice couple of local real ales served in good condition and very friendly locals. Loved the one bar electric fire and very traditional outside toilets. If you come in the summer you may be able to see a crown green bowling game being played.

The Boot Inn
Boothsdale, TarporleyFirst visit to this establishment since the mid 70's. Changed beyond belief but in a very good way.
Mike and his staff were very friendly and attentive, providing service with a smile.
The food was delicious and reasonably priced. The chicken wrapped in Parma ham with mushroom sauce is recommended, as is the homemade beefburger.
A good selection of ales made for a perfect meal.
The only complaint is the condition of the toilets. They really do need an upgrade.
Apart from that, very pleasing.

Bunbury Ln, Bunbury, TarporleyFound this little gem in Bunbury. Excellent service, great coffee, tasty home made flapjack (brunches being served looked tempting as well). Would definitely recommend if you're heading down the A49 looking for a characterful food & drink break. We'll be back for a return visit.

Vicarage Lane, BunburyFive of us went for a feed drinks and some food whilst attending a wedding at a local castle and were delighted with the food quality and very reasonable. The chef should be very proud of the food and it was traditional food done very well and the desserts were massive!!

The Village Chippy
School Ln, Bunbury, TarporleyI would give this place a 20 out of 10 if I could and I used to manage a successful chippy myself. Fish and chips were amazing as were the staff and owner. We have been before and will go again. Well worth the drive from Whitchurch and back.

The food was absolutely delicious, and what made the experience even better was the thoughtful gesture from the staff — we ordered to share (as I can’t eat much), and they split the meal across two plates without us even asking. Such a simple thing, but it meant a lot.

Beeston, TarporleyHad a really lovely visit at Sandstone Café today, after I visited the BeeStone Castle. I ordered two hot drinks and really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful atmosphere of the area. The lovely lady who served me was so happy and friendly – thank you for the warm service! ?
There are also plenty of tables (around 18) so it’s a great spot to sit, relax, and take your time.

Waiter & gent on the desk were both very professional, friendly and attentive.
Food was absolutely delicious! Good ingredients and fresh. No complaints what so ever.
Very generous portions, so much so we ended up taking about half back to our hotel with us.
Great prices, spend £20/£30+ more for the same dishes down south.
The whole establishment was absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated, pleasant Indian music playing in the background.
We were the only customers dining in however the takeaway was booming.
The fact they don't serve alcohol wasn't an issue at all, honestly who needs alcohol to appreciate good food?

Oakmere, NorthwichWent on a Sunday late morning. It was fairly busy but staff were friendly and helpful. I asked about the gluten free breakfast as I'm coeliac and they lady on the counter was helpful. Took about 30 mins from ordering to arriving but it's always a bit longer for GF anywhere in my experience. Reasonably priced and you get a lot of food. Definitely be eating here again.
