The Old Bakery, Pigmeadow Ln, LiskeardWhat a lovely experience in this hidden gem of a place we found on a recent holiday to Cornwall. The place is so quirky and interesting, the service was amazing and the food exceptional. We had the Korean burger and the phoenix burger simply the best burgers we ever had. They also accommodated for our 8 years old child who loved her chicken and chips… even her “simple” chicken was super tasty. Thanks for the cucumber too.
The fruit juicy was delicious with a decorated ice cubes… everything has such a nice touch! Thank you.

A38, Two Waters Foot, LiskeardHad a couple of visits for meals, pub is lovely inside and out, staff were very friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere. The food was really nice and generous portions, really good value. \nWill definitely be back next time we’re down.

Cattle Market, Fairpark Rd, LiskeardI went here with my wife we had a small breakfast and a mug of tea each. Whilst walking up to the entrance I will be honest I thought that maybe I had made a mistake, as it was on what looks a bit like a building site, Oh my gosh don't judge a book by its cover, the breakfast was amazing and it was lovely that the staff knew a few of the regulars that walked through the door, the ladies behind the counter could see that we were a bit apprehensive and welcomed us is happily, We will be going back again before our weeks break finishes, I couldn't recommend this small local cafe more, I would say one of the best cafe breakfast's I have had in years

6 Windsor Pl, LiskeardCome for lunch on a Tuesday when many places were closed. Beautifully decorated thats with the friendly staff, provided a laid back atmosphere. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for especially the flatbreads. Such a lovely little hidden gem

Bean
6 Fore St, LiskeardBean Cafe is a little gem in an unexpected place. We often visit Liskeard on our way to or from other places and pop into Bean for a cream tea because it's become a family favourite. The scones are delicious and the coffee is good.
Liskeard has lots of little antiques and curiosity shops and a good selection of charity shops so it's a great place if you like eco friendly shopping.

Pod, The Bubble Retail Park, Plymouth Rd, LiskeardStaff are great & friendly.
Only concern is allergy risk. I asked for a hot chocolate with oatmilk (preference over allergy), and noticed that the barista staff member used the jug that steam heats my oatmilk in, then proceeded to use the same jug for normal milk. I worry that someone with a milk allergy may react to contamination. Needs addressing

14 Dean St, LiskeardWe read the reviews and decided to arrange for a takeaway to be delivered. We were 5 miles from Liskeard but there was no extra charge for delivery. The food was excellent and beautifully presented, even though it was a takeaway. Because there was a slight delay we were called to advise what time the delivery would be made. Would recommend this service for a fine dining experience.

Quicker to walk through roads and cuts taking less time and no petrol and parking costs to get a quick lunch after a very short visit to Cornwall

5 Lower Lux St, Liskeard5 stars mainly because I had a proper laugh here! Went around 2230 got the cheapest pints I've ever known, played pool and lost twice, 50p for pool! Nice little garden but couldn't see much as it was dark, and chuffed it was open even with no customers at half 10.

Dobwalls, LiskeardHad a Sunday Carvery here. It was absolutely delicious ?. A choice of beef, gammon or turkey with lots of extras to help yourself to like roasties, perfect roast parsnips, cartots, swede, cabbage and cauliflower cheese. The gravy was definitely the best I've tasted.

Plymouth Rd, LiskeardSeriously the best fish and chips around. Better than any of the local chip shops and honestly the best fish I’ve had in a long while. Fresh and perfectly cooked.
Sure, it’s in a supermarket that has more security than some prisons. Yes the cafe is full of (much) older people. Yes your table’s order may come out in a few trips over several minutes. But go for the fish and you’ll be happy.

Hot Wok Renaissance
2 Pondbridge Hill, LiskeardI ordered a Chinese from Hot Wok Renaissance and I have to say it was delicious. We have ordered before and it wasn’t as good as it was tonight. The food was fresh and tasty , nothing dry and lots of fresh vegetables in the chicken with cashew nuts and beef chow mein. The sweet and sour pork balls were delicious, the batter light and not greasy. Really happy with our order and will definately be ordering again .

The Best Kebabs
1 West St, LiskeardThis really was the "Best Kebab" I have ever had! Donner meat was extremely flavoursome and cooked to perfection. In my opinion it certainly stands out from any other place I have been to and trust me I been to a few. Thankyou very much. we will be back soon as we are in or even near this kebab shop. Free parking in the carpark just down the road in the evening too to go grab it, couldn't be easier
