3 Fore St, LostwithielAbsolutely phenomenal. The food was to die for. Had a birthday meal here and our waiter was super kind. Also an amazing birthday cake so thank you very much for that. Great prices for the quality of the food and 100% would come back and recommend to anyone in the area.

The Globe Inn
3 North St, LostwithielSpent three days in this area and the best pub food by far was at the Globe Inn. Fabulous chowder was as good as any I’ve tasted in the States. Will be back. The service and hospitality was second to none. I can highly recommend.

35 Fore St, LostwithielA wonderful evening of delicious food. One amazing dish after another. Cooked to perfection and excellent service from very friendly staff. Definitely now out go to Indian restaurant from now on. The added bonus of being able to take your own wine or other alcohol also meant that the bill was extremely reasonable. Definitely we will be back. Thank you.

Pleyber Christ Way, LostwithielSmall cafe in the very busy town community centre. The menu is limited but the food is nicely prepared and pleasantly presented. 4 stars only because of noise and distractions. Great for anyone participating in the events at the centre.

Royal Oak Inn
5 Duke St, LostwithielJust spent two nights here. The rooms are nice and the staff very welcoming. Evening meal was mediocre, not awful, but not great. Breakfast was very good though. It is great to see a village pub thriving, however, we had two relatively early starts so didn’t want to be up late, but the noise from downstairs was extremely loud. There was a band playing one night and a karaoke the second, making it impossible to sleep until very late. Very handy location though and a lovely Indian restaurant in the village.

Chicken burger and chips were very good I couldn’t complain. Staff lacked a bit and chatted between themselves and no welcome but hey ho.
