New Garden Chinese Restaurant

Had this Chinese twice while on holiday from the midlands, food was very tasty fresh & reasonably priced. £13.10 for chicken curry fried rice & chips. Only 10 minutes drive from Piran meadows resort. Saw other reviews about the parking, yes there ain’t much room but It’s no fault of the owners the place is just rammed. I preordered via phone then collected. I will 100% be ordering again when I visit in may, also I’ll add the staff are polite & friendly. Cash or card is accepted also. 5 stars from me. Thanks Tom

Port & Starboard

Great staff create a welcoming environment to eat in and for the takeaway. Great teamwork with lush senses of humour. Great chips, cod bites and sausages. Whole family enjoyed the last 4 times we’ve been and so much so that we don’t use any other venue for takeaway now. The car park is useful although there are a limited number of spaces so it’s worth being in a good time to attempt grabbing a space. Highly recommend, 10/10!

Retallack Resort and Spa Cornwall

We had a few days here for my brother's golden wedding anniversary. The location was very nice, as were the lodges. But they were let down by a number of niggly faults. Firstly, the hot tub was faulty and wasn't able to be used for the 2 fine days we were there. The oven had a fault and didn't fully work, the blind in my bedroom dropped to pieces when I tried to close it...and various other things. These were dealt with promptly by the staff, who were very helpful and pleasant, but, sadly, we had too many problems to make it an enjoyable stay. It seemed lacking in general maintenance.
