Arnside, CarnforthHad a very tasty breakfast bun here this morning. I have been to the cafe a few times for coffee and cake and lunch another time. Food is always tasty here, highly recommend and has a fantastic playground for children.

JJ Crossfield's Cafe & Bar Arnside
35 The Promenade, Arnside, CarnforthPopped in here for a leisurely lunch on a slightly damp weekday. What a lovely retreat from the world.
Luckily we were able to sit at a window seat and watch the tide come in (and it does really quickly here - be warned).
The pizzas are magnificent ... no other words will suffice. They also have gluten free pizza bases too, so that you can have any of their toppings rather than just one choice... and they're splendid too.
The staff are helpful and will welcome we behaved visitors and dogs.
Nice atmosphere with contemporary furnishings
