I'm told Kaths cafe closed till next year? Owner has cancer! ,when I phoned and asked about dinner the lady on phone told me they were closed and not going to reopen till next year? Anyone any information?
I visited this cafe several years ago and I remembered it as OK but the decor was a bit "twee". Anyway, my wife, myself and another couple, had lunch there more recently, last Sunday. We drove separately and planned to meet there. I arrived first and discovered almost every table was reserved. That was the best Full English Breakfast I've had since Gary Wilmotts wedding. Minor Criticism, more distance needed between the eggs and the beans. I may want to mix them but I want that to be my decision, use a sausage as a breakwater.
