63 Spring Gardens, BuxtonIncredible Crispy Confit Duck this afternoon. Service was great, and we found a table big enough for 4 adults and a small child. Drinks reasonably priced (Guinness, Red Wine, Lemonade and Cola). Bright and airy pub showing the football and some interesting vintage fruit machines. Back to the duck. Best food I've eaten in a pub serving food below £20 a dish. I thanked the chef at the time but I'd like to extend that thanks to this review too. The accompanying vegetables were perfectly cooked and the forest of the fruits sauce was perfect. I barely spoke a word before finishing. Everyone else seemed happy enough but I was too infatuated with the duck to care. Nobody seemed to complain on the way home. Next time we're in Buxton, we'll be back. Please put on the duck!
