Lovely carvery including juicy beef i could actually chew and some lovely tender turkey alongside cauliflower cheese with REAL cheese and crispy roasties, creamy mash.. & fresh veggies! Pickled red cabbage & choice of gravies & sauces. Swiftly followed by home made puddings.. what more can I say ? Reasonably priced. Not our first time & won't be our last either.

Did not eat but I hear the food is very good. Nice location and good beers. Also Great stop if you are on a walk. Some brilliant walking around this pub. Also Ravenstor YHA is a mile or so away if you are staying in the area.

Had two lattes here on a very cold snowy wet day. The drinks were very good and the cafe was very warm. We had two dogs and we were wet and soggy, they had no problem with us going in.
