What a cracking little pub! We were made to feel most welcome, with both locals and staff alike friendly and chatty.My coeliac husband enjoyed a choice of gluten free beers on tap (we only discovered one of them was gluten free by accident, as the staff weren't aware). The pub quiz was also great, with good crack from the local teams.We ate at the pub once and popped down for a pint on a few other occasions while we were staying in the village. We've been to The Church Inn a couple of times now, first just for coffee and cake, then for lunch. Delightful, friendly & comfortable both times. Obviously popular with the locals. Has a pleasant outside seating area too. A bit of a "hidden gem" though - on the edge of the village by the church (surprisingly enough!).Highly recommended! Hope to return soon.

Popped in here after a lovely walk with the dog. Really friendly, Great service and the food was amazing. Certainly worth a visitVegetarian options: I had the veg Wellington. Never tasted anything so yummy before. Best vegetarian dish Ive ever had
