36 Exeter Rd, ExeterWe ordered curry and sides for 50 people the night before our wedding and were amazed at fantastic the food and portions were huge! Everything came neatly packaged and it was so much food we are still working our way through the leftovers from the freezer. We always order from Indian Ocean because their food is consistently delicious, we have never had a complaint in over 15 years as customers. The team are friendly and we are so grateful they were able to cater for our wedding on short notice. Highly recommend, best Indian in Exmouth!

Had a lovely experience at Prezzo Exmouth. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We were especially looked after by Sofia, who was absolutely lovely — friendly, attentive and made us feel really welcome throughout. Her service really made the visit extra special. Will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

Esplanade, ExmouthWe visited The Grove for a Sunday roast while on holiday in Exmouth and ordered two roast beef platters and two kids meals. The platters did not disappoint! The beef was delicious and tender and all of the trimmings were really tasty too, especially the cauliflower cheese and ox cheek Mac and cheese. Highly recommend!

Would have scored maximum stars if it was a quid or so cheaper. Don't expect parking right outside if you're in a car though.

Pier Head, ExmouthWe went as a family and were pleased to secure a reservation for our group of five in the indoor terrace on a beautifully sunny day. We were slightly concerned that the terrace might get too warm but with the windows open and that little bit of sea breeze it was perfectly comfortable and had fabulous sea views. Service was friendly and efficient, with the team quickly resolving a small delay on one dish (which was kindly taken off the bill). We pre-ordered the whole lobsters to take advantage of the £5 discount and they were excellent. All of the dishes were fantastic, there were plenty of daily specials to choose from and the unlimited chips are a bonus - especially when paired with the curry sauce!

Michael Caines Restaurant at Lympstone Manor
Courtlands House, Courtlands Ln, ExmouthWe thoroughly enjoyed our experience and had a wonderful time. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was peaceful and pleasant. The place itself is lovely—we had the chance to take a walk outside and enjoy some tea in the garden. Highly recommended!

My only issue from last night ... it was a little chilly last night and, as we cannot really beat folk for not closing doors these days, could you fix the door/floor please. It repeatedly stuck open with the cold air nipping at some of us oldies!! Poor souls that we are! 8*)

The Esplanade, ExmouthOur first visit was on Sunday 5th October and what a fantastic renovation and use of space to make a rather quaint little restaurant taking advantage of the wonderful seafront views.
We went for the roast beef and the dressed crab for some lunch, both were absolutely delicious.
Book in advance. Would highly recommend this place. ✌?❤️

The Swan Inn
The Strand, Lympstone, ExmouthA lovely if somewhat expensive pub in the heart of Lympstone.
The pub has a concrete front area where we sat to enjoy our meals and drinks. The inside was spotlessly clean and the service excellent.
We ordered the westcountry muscles and the burger. Both were served fresh and the chips were proper chips, which was nice to see.
The muscles were perfect and plentiful. An entire field of potatoes were sacrificed for the excellent chips and the burger was perhaps a bit thick for my liking, but I won’t let a personal preference detract. However, the whole burger experience was a bit … tall. The whole thing when assembled was about 20cm tall and not possible to eat with hands. That said, it was nice.
The interior of the pub looked lovely and if passing through again, I will definitely stop here for food. However, if I could improve anything, then perhaps the following small additions:
The red cabbage served with the burger didn’t taste great. Soapy, or similar. Perhaps a different acid / vinegar is needed.
The burger could have been pressed a little flatter. And some relish would have been nice, although by admission, I could actually taste the meat!

Premier Inn Exmouth Seafront hotel
The Esplanade, ExmouthHotel was very reasonably priced especially for Christmas Day. The staff very helpful as we needed an early check-in, all done smoothly with a smile even given they were very busy.
Car parking excellent too, only £8.00 overnight which is fair.
Nice to also have the bar open on Christmas Night.
Situated overlooking the beach

We managed to park right outside and queued up as there was quite a few people there. The staff were friendly and the service was quick. As always the food was amazing, our server was lovely, very polite & professional, the food came to us quickly & piping hot ... just as I like it. The atmosphere was busy but lovely. Will be visiting again & again. Our booking was under the name Mel & there was 9 of us for a birthday celebration. Highly recommend for anyone who wants an excellent meal, reasonably priced & will excellent service.

Greenfingers Garden Centre, Pound Ln, ExmouthWhat a hidden gem!!! Tucked away in Greenfingers garden centre, this is a well-kept secret! I had a soup of the day; gorgeous homemade tomato and basil, with nice granary bread and a pot of butter. The devil’s in the detail, the bowl was warmed, so my soup stayed warm, giving me chance to savour the flavours and enjoy the surroundings. The cappuccino was a good size and full of flavour. A great find - I’m looking forward to returning, so that I can sample their all day breakfast on a Sunday.

The Octagon
The Esplanade, ExmouthOur first visit was on Sunday 5th October and what a fantastic renovation and use of space to make a rather quaint little restaurant taking advantage of the wonderful seafront views.
We went for the roast beef and the dressed crab for some lunch, both were absolutely delicious.
Book in advance. Would highly recommend this place. ✌?❤️

Bumble and Bee
Manor Gardens, Alexandra Terrace, ExmouthLovely place in gorgeous gardens & friendly service. I only had a coffee, but... it was £4.20!!! Charging extra for plant milks (which don't cause climate breakdown or animal suffering) makes no sense & unfairly penalises vegans. Many cafes now offer one plant milk for free (often Sproud pea milk) while still charging for oat & soya. This could be a first step? ???
