We've been going here for nearly 30 years. Love it as much as we always have. Only downside- no more Hobgoblin Ale. But that's the breweries fault for changing the recipe. The pub is atmospheric, real old english pu . Not many of those left, sadly.
A wonderfully traditional pub at the side of the road. Nice big car park. Friendly staff. Open fire. Dogs welcomed. Perfect at the end of a walk for food, drink or even a mulled wine to warm you up at Christmas time.

Lovely unpretentious unspoilt old pub; easy-going atmosphere. We shared a good couple of hours and pints chatting on a very quiet Sunday night with the owners Nigel and Sandra, nice hard-working people, next time we'll try the food which looked really good.
