We both ordered fish and it was superb - fresh, great quality and cooked perfectly. Everything we ordered was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. We are already planning our next visit!

Sweet Pea Café
Sweet Pea Café, Market Cross, Sturminster NewtonExceptional place with delicious quiches - choice of two, which we had for lunch with salad and pan fried potatoes. The quiches were made with GF pastry which was great for me, being gluten intolerant - a rare treat. Very friendly and welcoming, good service and seems to be popular with locals and visitors alike.

Sturminster House, Bath Rd, Sturminster NewtonWe went for breakfast last weekend, wanted somewhere dogs were welcome, they certainly were here, even had their own menu, we chose to sit in the courtyard but dogs are more than welcome inside The cooked breakfast was lovely as were the staff

Sturminster Road, Manston, Sturminster NewtonFriendly staff and a wonderful old country pub. The place has obviously been tastefully renovated, it's clean and comfortable. The food is fresh and good quality, and the chocolate fudge cake is probably the best I've ever had! Well priced and well worth a visit!

King's Stag, Sturminster NewtonWhat a great party we had in the Shooting Room -Denisa-(Owner) was so helpful and the waitresses were excellent and so was the food.
They also went the extra mile for one of my friends find a cheese dish for her sweet?.
Fully recommend this pub for food and parties ? plus lovely staff and Owners?

The Blackmore Vale Inn
Burton St, Marnhull, Sturminster NewtonGreat little pub a mate and I stumbled across, fantastic selection of beers and ciders. We haven’t eaten here yet but the menu looked excellent and the place had a great “Pub” feel to it. Will definitely be returning.

Antelope Inn
Pidney Hill, Hazelbury Bryan, Sturminster NewtonLovely little local with friendly and helpful bar staff. Nice selection of drinks and a good sized beer garden. Full size playground and play field over the road, which you can take drinks too. Don't expect alacarte food as it's not that sort of place. Nice simple pub classics , basket food and toasted sandwiches. My kids love their chicken n chips and of course the playground.

Dike & Son Supermarket, Ring St, Stalbridge, Sturminster NewtonAs always, friendly, efficient and very welcoming. Comfortable sofas and easy chairs as well as tables and chairs for eating at. Some had been reserved in advance. Great decaf coffee (& lovely mince pies - thank you!) And the sun streaming through the conservatory roof - though cannot promise that every time!

Oxfords Bakery
1 Market Cross, Sturminster NewtonWent for breakfast and the food was really good and a step up from just bacon and eggs. It was cold in there though so didn't feel you could relax. I was a bit disappointed as last time I went they had amazing custard donuts and sausage rolls etc that stood out but the bakery offering seemed quite run of the mill this time.
Parking: You have to park in the road with a one hour limit or up in the free car park by the Coop and walk down

Market Pl, Sturminster NewtonBeautiful location. Staff were efficient friendly and helpful. Rooms were great everything worked as it should. The building is quite old so if your looking for chic this isn't it. The rooms were comfortable and warm with quality mattress and bed linen. Foid here was good and the service was great. Everyone was friendly. The area is pretty. The Swan is somewhere I would definitely go to again

The Crown
Crown Rd, Marnhull, Sturminster NewtonPulled up on the Harley Dee on the way home to tonbridge from Cornwall. We were much happier staying in this pub than the one we stayed in for three nights in Cornwall. Great bedroom. Really nice evening meal and a fresh cooked to order breakfast. Proper pint.

Absoloutley amazing food, (the chicken tikka was so juicy, succelent, perfectly flavoured) the curry i wanted extra spicy and it was divine, and from welcoming me, enjoyed from my starter to my dessert, i am from out of town and i was craving my curry after having a stay in poole for work and really fancied a curry, even though it was absoloutley rammed with customers, it was a lovley happy atmosphere, everyone was smiling, laughing, and thats what its all about, togetherness.. made me so happy, even saw a 90th birthday celebration, so heartwarming, the service is 10/10, cleanliness 10/10, decor 10/10, such a cute traditional indian resturant, i will definitley come back here for occasions, i also will book for future events/catering.. overall a very happy customer.. thank you so so much all :)
