8 The Weir, HessleVisited early on a Friday evening and it was very busy. Initially some confusion over our booking but was sorted quickly. We got seated upstairs - decor is opulent but chairs n tables don't match! My chair was hard and uncomfortable and there was a broken one next to me!! The music was too loud and intrusive for me but the food was ok..probably would visit again but on a quieter evening perhaps?? Staff polite and friendly

Wingfield Farm - Dining & Carvery
Boothferry Rd, HessleTurned up unannounced, we were greeted by the friendly Irene who showed us to a table. Very relaxed atmosphere, all the staff were very nice and helpful. We all chose to have the Carvery Breakfast, which was well cooked and tasty, along with the unlimited tea. Great service, great food always, we have been regular patrons for quite a while, but the breakfast is a new thing for us. A very well done Irene and staff!

Popped in on Saturday 4 adults with my Grandaughter. Couldn't of made us more welcome. We came back in the evening for meals which were fantastic, the atmosphere was brilliant, everyone just enjoying themselves. Definitely spreading the word amongst the caravan owners. Well done and good luck for the future.

3 The Weir, HessleWe booked a space for 12 and had the front area, the staff were excellent, a real credit to the place. We had a range of small plates and they were spot on. We also drank a lot, and everything went smoothly.

27 The Weir, Hull, HessleWas in the area last night 26/06/25 as husband had an appointment at a nearby clinic. I googled the area first where to grab some takeaway food for our tea and decided to order from here. So glad we did.
Absolutely amazing pizzas. Best we've had in a long time.
We ordered a couple of 12 inch pizzas ? and scoffed the lot.
We've both agreed it would be worth the 40 minute drive to visit again.
The young man serving was also really pleasant, and as we waited outside for our order, he brought it out to us when it was ready. 10/10 !!! ?

S Ella Way, HullWe ate out for the first time for Christmas dinner today the Beechtree didn't disappoint, everything was absolutely beautiful! The starter, the main course and dessert was all perfect. Tea and coffee afterwards was a lovely extra. The staff were all polite and went above and beyond. Thank you to the Beechtree for a lovely Christmas dinner.

55 Prestongate, HessleWe love this place! Great selection of beers and cider on tap but also a fab collection of cans, we like to try different ones and often have a Saturday afternoon taste test! The staff are super friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. We often end up stood at the bar just chatting to people. There is also a good selection of games plus it's dog and child friendly.

Their special curry, or chicken/mushroom curry is delicious, Singapore chow mein can’t be beaten, ribs yum, sweet/sour chicken Hong Kong style is soooo good! I could go on. Last night we collected the order and were greeted with a lovely welcome. The food we collected was piping hot and most importantly delicious! The portions are always generous, including the amount of meat in each dish. Thanks to all the team at DH. We enjoy our Chinese treat!

Tea came in a pot with china cup and saucer. Staff were friendly and helpful. Place was really busy but we weren't waiting long for food. Well worth a visit.
